Sim drops the dagger to bring forth the RuinBlade. But the daze and aura affect him as he calls a Thundering Vortex (enemies only) that attacks all the undead around him and the two next to Forge. Starting with the one at top left and around; fumble, 34 vs Fort, 38, fumble, 34, fumble. 36 damage if hit and they are marked by his aegis. If he hits the ones around him, they are pushed one square away from him and the one next to Forge is pulled one square away from Forge (unless I hear Forge say not to do this as he may want to move away to the right, punch one or attack both). He saves vs daze.

You destroy two of the swarms outright. Again, your position means that the storm strike burst only targets you, and you are unaffected by it.

If possible as a free action, Sim predicts how the Zombie will react to the attack with his Insightful Riposte (non-arcane) and increase the roll to 37 vs. Fort.
As the RuinBlade cuts down the undead, Sim thinks he hears a strange tune emanating from the blade. He recalls hearing a very similar tune in the court of the Sultan from a motley crew of musicians that claimed they were from a cursed parallel universe. The tune was called Enter Sandman. The sultan did not think much of the tune but decided it was not worth roasting them alive as he thought they would have a metallica taste about them.

It avoids it. (ongoing necrotic that accompanies aided healing).

 

[Buckthorn]

Buckthorn will name to the zombies on the great cat as his quarry. He will fire using Twin Strike. Rolls 37 (24 damage) and 45 (19 damage). Buckthorn will fire at the zombie to the south first... if he drops it then he would use the second arrow against the other zombie.

If hit again but the storm, Buckthorn will use Second Chance.

For a minor action, Buckthorn will apply Healing Herbs to the great cat and Leandre gets 18 hit points.

Buckthorn calls down the storm again on himself and his two new "allies".

He also happens to shoot some zombies.

He does offer to heal the cat, even as he tries to kill it. Of course he can't, as he is dazed.

"We've got to stop calling down this storm. We should move back and regroup." Allowyn moves back 2 squares, hoping to get out of the swarms aura and to avoid any future storms. Leandre blasts a mighty roar, trying to push back the last zombie (29 v Will) and the swarm (42 v Will) adjacent to it. A hit deals 30 damage pushes them back 3 and knocks them prone.

The storm appears to be a blast 3 (with daze) centered on the user of magic. Don’t attack until you spread out. These undead all appear to be minions (the non-minions haven't come out to play yet). Forge just punch the one in front of you that should take it out.
