Sim, you know makes some progress with the portal. EDIT: In fact, you did such a good job, you might give a boost to the next person who tries to unravel it, assuming there was such a person.

You do in fact think that the infusion could trigger it--though the chance may be a bit smaller.

Buckthorn

Given his terrible flub with his arrows, Buckthorn is almost hesitant to "help" but he will move next to the portal, staying on south side, opposite Sim.

Does Buckthorn, or Sim, think tinkering with the portal (thievery) would help? If so, he will try to unravel the portal using Thievery (roll 38).

"Let me know when you need it punched or persuaded. Until then, I'll keep my eye on this monster. Forge, do you think we could push it over or hamper its future movements in some way? Do any of you have a rope?" Unless another use for him is found, Allowyn and Leandre will ready attacks for the moment the Gargoyle reanimates.

Given the number of times thievery has been used under these circumstances, I am tempted to say you think "no, won't do anything"...

But instead...you jog over and help disrupt the portal.

Forge will ready an attack for when the creature first turns back as well.

As the creature begins to revert to its flesh form, Forge smashes it with his readied attach(48 vs AC! and 38 damage).

By email and roll20....

It suddenly starts to fly...Forge catches it (though not while its prone) and hits it, he marks it, but its power lets it keep going. Its also attacked by the cat-n-lord, but that does not affect the movement (you can make the attack, but as the power was not confirmed, it won't change its turn).

It is hitting Buckthorn, but then is sucked into a dimmensional vortex by the arcanist!.

More to come.

The gargoyle is teleported across the chamber and its attack on Buckthorn annulled.

So he just finishes his action, flying back and taking his revenge on Sim. The spellsword is picked up like a ragdoll and chucked across the room. (91 dmg! moved).

You have till Monday morning. Warlord and big cat can take their readied attack--which will not undo anything in the turn--and you can all take your turns, including them again.

EDIT: the gems are enticing, but the dais is very, very cold.

As his readied action, Hail of Steel, 33 vs. AC. If he misses, he'll use heroic effort to make it 37. 23 Damage and everyone else gets a free basic attack against the gargoyle. Leandre claws as his basic attack (27 v AC). Then Leandre takes his readied action and unleashes his fury, a bite (37, 30 damage) and a claw (34, 23 damage) attack.

No, no one else attacks, the turn is over.

Edit: The gargoyle/reaction turn is over. You can go with your normal turns.

Buckthorn, on his turn, will mark the gargoyle as his quarry and fire at it with Twin Strike. Two attacks (31 and 34). Damage, if he hits, 17 for 1st arrow, 35 for 2nd arrow.
