This game is 1E AD&D. No spell points, no skill points, no weapon specialization. You're more than welcome to start a 2E game if you wish, but it isn't happening here, sorry. Yeah, I know, I brought it up about houseruling weird spell stuff, but let's make sure that it is nipped in the bud. **wink, wink, nudge, nudge, say no more**

confirming, and Lynda Lawless and howandwhy99 opting out. That leaves DM_Wannabe with a question mark, and possibly any lurkers that we have picked up. The party is currently viable, if maybe a little bit caster-poor. What say the adventurers, are we ready to begin?

Thanks for the invite but it has been so long since 1st edition i dont even have a clue as to what it is in game terms much less access to those books there still packed up in arkansas

I understand, JA. For what it's worth, the old 1E books are available as free pdfs online. I'm sure Scotley could tell you where to find them.
But I'm not trying to send you off on a mission to read antiquated rulebooks! You said 'no,' and I understood 'no,' so that's cool. Using games from the dim past is not everyone's cup of grog, for sure. In fact, the only two players of our mutual acquaintance on ENWorld who have, so far, been able to put up with my 1E DMing are Scott DeWar and Rhun.
