Leif's Homebrew 4E D&D Game, nee 'Leif's Keep on the Shadowfell' [IC #1] [FULL]

Basher7

The warforged looks on in admiration as his companions work on the shopkeeper. The commercial behavior of humans is almost as interesting and mystifying as their sexual foibles. He almost wishes he needed something so that he try his own skills at this most interesting challenge.

Glad that they have the rations and that he wasn't forced into negotiations, Khellek will anxiously await the chance to go and visit the Sister that they had heard about when they arrived.

"Have you everything you need? If so, I must see the holy woman we heard about" the shifter says.

Aimhirghin

Having finished the negotiations and purchased rations, Aimhirghin follows his friend out.

"You think the holy woman will have word of your sister, Khellek?"

Heading to the Temple in Winterhaven

As the party nears the temple, you see that it is a quite old structure of mossy stone. The door stands invitingly ajar.

Tarrk looks at the big structure...
"Typical for these gods. Need a own house nearly everywhere. Not like the spirits... ok, they have monoliths...
Nothing against you Khellek or your god."

Temple in Winterhaven

There is a seim-permanent notice posted near the temple door that, from teh obvious weathering of the sign, has been there for some significant time. It indicates that services are held three times each week, and are presided over by the local priestess, Sister Linora. Special note is also made of the specific times when in each of the services that special attention will be given to Avandra, Goddess of luck and change.

Khellek will look at the times wondering if he should approach now or wait until after one of the ceremonies. His journey had been long, but now that it could be close to completion the shifter was anxious to find out some news of his sister.

He looks at the others though, and decides right now is not the time to be selfish, there were many innocent here who would benefit from the destruction of the kobolds, while his quest could wait a few more hours.

"We should go and see if we can stop this kobold threat first, then, when my mind is focused only on my one goal, I'll return" Khellek says, baring his teeth at Tarrk, "Don't worry, I'm sure the Moonmaiden will remember your words when the time comes." continuing jokingly.

Shouldn't it be Tymora, Goddess of Luck? I think Avandra is from the Core World. Good thing is that she has a good relationship with Selune (actually living in Selune's domain)
