The warforged comments, "A sounds tactic," as he steps forward to join Khellek with a blow for the Dire Wolf. He lets the momentum of the swing carry him on to swing at the Ogre. His Craghammer slams into the Ogre with a meaty thump.

OOC: Mark the Ogre.

[sblock=Actions]
Shift to P19, standard attack vs. Dire Wolf and shift to O18 for secondary attack vs. Mountain Ogre.
Passing Attack Fighter Attack 1
You strike at one foe and allow momentum to carry you forward into a second strike against a second foe.
Encounter ✦ Martial,Weapon
Standard Action Melee weapon
Primary Target: One creature
Attack: Strength vs. AC
Hit: 1[W] + Strength modifier damage, and you can shift 1 square. Make a secondary attack.
Secondary Target: One creature other than the primary target
Secondary Attack: Strength + 2 vs. AC Hit: 1[W] + Strength modifier damage.

Combat Challenge: In combat, it’s dangerous to ignore a fighter. Every time you attack an enemy, whether the attack hits or misses, you can choose to mark that target. The mark lasts until the end of your next turn. While a target is marked, it takes a –2 penalty to attack rolls for any attack that doesn’t include you as a target. A creature can be subject to only one mark at a time. A new mark supersedes a mark that was already in place.
In addition, whenever a marked enemy that is adjacent to you shifts or makes an attack that does not include you, you can make a melee basic attack against that enemy as an immediate interrupt.[/sblock]

Winterhaven

OOC: For simplicity's sake, I am going to have the opposition attack after the party, so I'm adjusting their initiative accordingly, although an unintended consequence of this may be that they get another attack this round. Ooops, my bad, I'm soooo embarrassed! :D Oh, well, you're HEROES, you can take it!

Initiative Order:
Ghraere 21
Basher7 19
Khellek 14
Tarrk 9
Elerosse 6
Fang the Dire Wolf 5
Urval the Mountain Ogre 5

Urval the Mountain Ogre grunts mightily as Basher7's craghammer does its work, and he laces his fingers together, raises both arms above his head and wallops Basher7 for all he is worth, inflicting 16 hp damage on the warforged. Fang the Dire Wolf chomps out at Khellek, and his bite strikes true but only for 5 hp damage.

All Heroes are up!

Tarrk

Tarrk circles the ogre with cunning footwork, stands grinning next to Basher, but suddenly charges the wolf again. If the ranger aim was true, this will be a killing blow...

[sblock=OOC]

move: Passing forward to N18 (circling ogre counterclockwise.
standard: Charge: Berserker Charge (1d20+13=28, 1d8=6, 2d6.minroll(2)+11=21)

will hit AC 30 (forgot th CA from flanking) for 27 damage.

drawing no OA because of the badge of the berserker :D.

Basic attack roll is 1d20+9;2d6.minroll(2)+10

OOC: Sorry about this guys, but we're going to undo this bit of weirdness that just happened. The two posts prior to this one (one by me and one by WD) are merely figments of your imagination. ;) Please post your actions for the round in whatever order you desire, and I'll straighten it all out after everyone posts for the round and put all the action in initiative order. W. Dad, your posted actions are fine, but things may get a little weird if those who have a higher initiative change things much before Tarrk gets to act. You can leave you last post (right before this one) as it is, or you can delete it as you see fit.

Basher7

Basher7 shudders and expels a blast of steam from his chest as the blow rattles him. He clatters and whirls a bit as he re-orients himself after the powerful attack. He eases to the left a bit into flanking position (N18) and unleashes a blow with his Craghammer. "

[sblock=actions]
Shift to N18

Crushing Surge Fighter Attack 1
The feel of your weapon crunching against the enemy puts your heart back in the fight.
At-Will ✦ Invigorating*, Martial, Weapon
Standard Action Melee weapon
Target: One creature
Attack: Strength vs. AC
Hit: 1[W] + Strength modifier damage.
Increase damage to 2[W] + Strength modifier at 21st level.

* Invigorating: If you are trained in the Endurance skill, you gain temporary hit points equal to your Constitution modifier when you hit with a power that has this keyword. No invigorating power grants temporary hit points more than once per turn, even if you hit more than once with the power or use more than one power with the invigorating keyword in a round.

OOC: W. Dad -- Absolutely you can keep the rolls! ;)

later edit: THANKS OZY! Wow, I wish I could get everyone else to feel that way! [see post 91]
