Leif's Homebrew 4E, IC02 [closed]

OOC: Tarrk will buy 4 javelins and 4 healing potions for a total of 220gp.
That leave him with 300 gp. Or could he buy a magic javelin +1, too?
25% chance there is one available. (This is kinda high, but what the heck?)

Looks like you're in luck! Book price.

OOC: Looks like I could have get it even with a 1% chance :)
Ok, Tarrk will buy 3 healing potions and a magic javelin +1. That leaves him with 10 gp cash.

OOC: I presume from the silence that most everyone else is all set to begin the journey of exploration? We can go ahead and start when you're ready. I'll be adding a map soon so you'll be able to see where you're going, but until then, the characters can follow the map anyway, even if the players can't see it. :)

OOC: Sorry, haven't gotten around to the map just yet. In other news, yes, Basher7 was able to find someone to paint a big red "7" on his nifty new shield. And, for your prior service to Winterhaven, there was no charge for it.

The map that the players can't see yet but the characters certainly can, shows the temple of Bahamut being about 3 day's journey to the northwest. You figure that you'll actually make better time if you follow the road to the north for a day or two and then strike out due west. Or you could just go straight northwest. It's totally the characters' call to make.

:-S east or west? yeah, something like that. :heh:

"Friends, I suggest we just travel directly towards the temple. It may take slightly longer, but it should be easier to find that way." Elerosse awaits his friends' decision.

OOC: was that east or west?

East? West? You mean there's a difference? Think I've got the previous post (137) straightened out now, thanks, Lou. ;)
