I too will put a free feat to good use. I had a rather busy weekend, so haven't gotten much written, but I have been thinking and researching. Am I correct in the guidelines?

20 point buy
10th level
bonus feat at 6th
max hp at first and roll the rest
tending toward chaotic good

My character will be neutral, but with good and chaotic tendencies. Tiefling Wizard 9/Druid 1 going with a wood elemental specialist wizard and weather domain for druid's nature's bond.

Got everything done but the background. I know where I'm going with that, but need to do some reading about the setting before I start putting it down for real.

I'm not sure what sources are open for this game, but Ultimate Equipment has several very nice items specifically for alchemists. I've been playing an alchemist in my home game (though one designed to take full advantage of natural attacks) and I've found Ablative Barrier and Alchemical Allocation to be extremely useful. Ablative Barrier is particularly nice because you can cast it in the morning and it'll last hours eliminating precious rounds of buffing at the beginning of combat. Of course, if you are primarily a bomber rather than a full-out natural attacker then its usefulness is lessened a bit.

Anyway, you all have a good game!

Ooh, those are nice, GlassEye! I'll have to see if I can re-allocate some resources for those. Thanks for the tip!

I like the Alchemical Allocation. Get two uses out of a single potion, unless I misread it.

I think it is actually infinite uses. The limit is that you can only gain benefit of one potion per use of the spell. Extremely useful when combined with the Enhance Potion discovery, as it essentially allows you to use potions as a spontaneous caster uses their spells known. *Except it is even better, because it is a 2nd-level spell that can be used on 3rd-level potions.

Leif, I was wondering if you could bestow some wisdom upon me and share some choices that would be good to take as my favored enemies. I've looked at the Guide archetype several times and I'm going straight ranger.

Don't read too much about Greyhawk, or you'll know more than I do.

ATTENTION! Allowed Sources: PFDR RPG Core Book, APG, an-n-nd, t-t-that's ALL folks! NOT! :heh: [You guys didn't really believe that, did you?]

I can't really do this, because if I tell you monsters that you'll be fighting, then I'll be ruining the surprise for you. If I tell you to pick favored enemies that you never encounter, then you'll burn me in effigy at the very least, and I wouldn't blame you. Pick big, mean things and you probably can't go wrong.
