I don't get how a 17 attack is a crit threat, nor do I get how the opponent's AC makes any difference whatever as to whether an attack is a crit threat. What am I missing here?
The first hit at + 17 was a 17 on the die. with Feat: improved critical gives long sword crit threat range of 17-20 instead of 19-20. In order to make a threat an attack you must hit the original AC, which i saw was 25. right?
