OOC: I believe there is the ability to "squeeze" in 3E, allowing a large creature to move through a smaller space, so I would think he can move through.
"Squeeze" a Stone Golem? Hmmm.... I thought that applied only to creatures of flesh and blood, but if that's what it's going to take then I guess I'll have to rule that Gomlar can do the "toothpaste tube" effect, too!
"Before we do anything else, let me have a quick look around."

Sam will circumnavigate the mansion on his mount, looking in windows and looking for anything unusual, such as evidence of a heavy object being dragged off, or a secret entrance. (ooc: Spot +12)

He will also use the air walk ability of his mount, directing it up and onto the roof of the house. If he sees anything dangerous, he will head back down instead of landing on the roof. Otherwise, he'll take a closer look at the tower and whatever else is there. He will then ride down and report to the party.
Noted. Results of Sam's survey will have to wait until tonight. ;)
Blade will await the results of the scout and stay close to Vaidun as he casts the defensive spells.

Does Blade really have to be BJ on the map? Can he just be B?
As you wish, hehe! Teach you to be more careful about your pc's initials in the future I will!!

Results of Sam's Inspection (sorry for the delay)

The most obvious thing that Sam notices is that every one of the windows on the ground floor of Londar's mansion has been broken out. They were formerly all stained glass windows, apparently of some not insignificant value, but they are all ruined now. There are signs all around that looters have used the windows to gain access to the mansion, and presumably carried off many things. There are nine (broken) windows in the north wall of the mansion, and five (also broken) in the south wall. There are two windows in the east wall, flanking the front door that are also broken. The western portion of the mansion has just one storey. The eastern end of the mansion is a tower that rises some four stories, but there are no windows anywhere in the tower. There is nothing of note on the roof.

Nilah, being the only member of the group who did not cast normal magic... had nothing to prepare. He simply let his eyes flare with magical empowerment and scanning the front of the mansion, before inspecting the front door more closely himself, though ready to leap back should things prove hostile.

The Front Door of Londar's Mansion

The massive front door, the part of it that you can see anyway, is made of oak boards. Nilah does detect Evocation Magic emanating from the very well-constructed lock. His search, however, yields no further information. [OOC: Theroc, are you sure Nilah only has +2 on search checks? That seems a bit low for a character of his level.]

Sam returns from the roof and dismounts. "Broken windows all around. Looks like the story about looters is true. No windows in the tower."

He sees Nilah peering at the door.

"Is there somehing odd about the door?" Sam takes a careful look at the door and its lock. (ooc: Search +16, take 20)

"Evocation aura, from the lock. Not sure how strong, but I'd wager it'd be a trap... either that or a spell to keep the door closed even if the lock is picked..."

Came Nilah's reply, as he stepped back and let Sam examine it.

Locksmith Sam!

Sam can tell that the lock is trapped, but it does seem that the trap will be bypassed if a special key is used to unlock it.

(OOC: that's really probably more than you should be able to tell just from a search of the lock, but, all things considered, it seems fair to me.)
