As Vaidun makes this remark, he is walking across the middle of the room toward the staircase leading up to the next level. He actually says, "Shall we mo...ah!" as he stumbles against an invisible object a bit more that waist high. He quickly finds is to be a sofa, and also finds that there are other objects, sofas, settees, chairs, tables, etc. arranged all around the middle of this level of the tower.

"Very interesting," says Vaidun, relaxing into the invisible sofa. "Strange, really, but we wizards tend toward that extreme."

The rest of you marvel somewhat at Vaidun making himself comfy on the invisible sofa, just seeming to float effortlessely about two-and-a-half feet off the floor.

Sam climbs up onto the invisible couch and rests for a moment, but he soon says "I'd better check out what's here."

He casts see invisibility and starts looking around, checking for anything that might be significant, such as papers on a desk or a big chest.

Sam's Discovery

Sam sees what looks for all the world like an invisible furniture showroom. There's just sofas, chairs, tables, and STUFF arranged pretty haphazardly around the room, all of it invisible, of course. None of the items he finds is of any particular use, but this does seem to be a convenient place for the part to hole-up and rest, if need be. ;)

Nilah continues detecting magic, his eyes faintly aglow as he looks about the room. He won't see the objects themselves, but he should be capable of seeing the magic itself, which may outline the objects.

Nilah notes that the entire middle portion of the room is magical (Illusion School). Wonder if this has anything to do with the furniture being invisible. Hmmm....

He detects no other magic in the room, except for items carried by the party, of course.
