OOC: We're starting up our summer program this week and so far it's kicking my ass - I'm working 10 to 12 hours a day at work, then doing paperwork at home in the evenings. So I'm having a hard time keeping up right now. I expect to have time Friday to catch up some, and hopefully I'll get into a better rhythm at work and next week won't be so bad . . .

Not sure how often Simeon will check back to make sure the wizards are following so...

At least I take it he isn't following by going down a side passage.

Simeon hasn't even reached the side passage yet. In fact, the side passage just came within Simeon's field of vision. So for Kerlan to get to the side passage, he would have to pass Simeon. The other wizards have apparently stopped behind Simeon. What does Kerlan have in mind?

Um, am I missing something? I was just going to continue on our way. I thought the passage leading south was the right direction. Are we supposed to be doing something else here?

No, you're not doing anything wrong. There is no 'right way' here. Simeon looks as though his intention is to lead you past the side passage, but that doesn't mean Kerlan can't investigate it. However, since Simeon is leading the procession, Kerlan won't get up to it, until Simeon has already passed it by. If Kerlan would like to ask why Simeon doesn't go investigate to the south, you're welcome to do so.

Simeon doesn't know what's down that way. It's just more UnderDark as far as he knows. The most direct route to the Vault of Larin Karr is straight on, however, but that may or may not be the best thing to do, depending upon what you guys wish to do next. Makes me no difference.[/sblock]
