Less "Celtic" Druid?

I was thinking that if you're controlling wind, you should also control other elements as well... These "Norse Druids" would be filling the same role in Norse society as clerics and shamen would in most others.

Given their dependence on seafaring, trading and raiding, they'd need to be able to control weather pretty well, but they'd also be the ones who blessed the forges. They'd be the ones who create magic items like the Finninsh sampo (kind of a mythological replicator).

Maybe this class should steal a little "elementalism" from the Wu Jen? Or increased Domain access from the OA Shaman (Elemental/Plant Domains only)?

To expand upon what I was talking about earlier, powers like the Greenbond's Bond with the Green ability (meditate to gain an intuitive sense of natural surroundings in a broad area...miles, in fact.

Instead of an animal companion, you might also consider giving this class familiars instead (despite all the problems familiars have). Ravens are often associated with norse shamen, especially those closely connected to Odin.

Working on all kinds of Noerse stuff?!

like the stuff I would be euphoric to have (even if it never shows up in a game)?

I'm a great fan of Noerse mythology and history so... Might I see where pretty Noerse stuff is please? :p

---One of the greatest adventures I ever DMed was around a dying great old tree which was a "living representation" of the land around it... and a draconic/ophidian creature living in a tunnel system under it... sounds familiar?
