Let me help you find the right board game

Hi,
I am married with a toddler. My wife and I need a quick(ish) game (including set-up). I would prefer a fantasy (or mythology) based game. It needs to be simple and quick (we can only really play after the boy goes down).

As usual, Lost Cities springs to mind whenever someone's asking for a quick couples game. If you could give me some more info (i.e. what's quick? Under an hour? Under half an hour? What kind of games do you like? etc) I might be able to give some more suggestions.

Thank you for the Lost Cities suggestion.

I would love a game that could be set-up and and played in an hour. We are not big on resourse allocation games. Something pretty mindless but fun. If there is a lot of luck involved, we are ok with that.

Ingenious is a light abstract which plays in about 45 minutes and is a lot of fun.

Carcassonne: The Castle is a Carcassonne game specifically designed for 2 players. I've only played it once, but I enjoyed it.

And just for something a bit weird which you've already got everything you need to play... Button Men. To play all you need are polyhedral dice, which being on ENWorld I suspect you've got in spades. You can find the rules and a list of button men stats here. Each round of Button Men takes about 2 minutes, so you can easily play a few games whenever you've got a couple minutes.
