May 24th Edition?Let's call it 5.24
Or do you have another suggestion?
What you think it is. Which is fine.I'm on board with a lot of it but I'm probably going to keep calling it 5.5 because that's honestly what it is, and that's fine really.
My reasoning is the same, but 5.24 and 5.14 sound odd to me, so I think I'll go with 5e (2014) and 5e (2024) if I want to distinguish between the two. Or stick with 5.0 and 5.5 because it's short and convenient.(For 3e, I call all of it "3e". So, 3e typically means 3.5. But if needing to distinguish, I say 3.5 versus 3.0.)
Now, I would do 5e similarly, but like the neutral reference to the year. So, 5.24 versus 5.14. But all of it is 5e.
