Let's invent some +1 Feats

In lowkey13's thread about ASI's, one of the solutions discussed is to only allow Feats, which is something I've always wanted to try.

But it occurs to me that in the absence of ASIs we might want more feats, especially those that give +1 to a single attribute.

Let's invent some.

Rules: one feat per post.

My first one:

Acrobat
+1 Dexterity
You can use Dexterity in place of Strength for jumping.
You can use Acrobatics in place of Athletics for climbing.

Jewel of the North
New Opportunity
+1 Int or +1 Cha
- You gain the feature from a new Background from the Backgrounds list
- You gain proficiency in a Skill and a Language of your choice

Adamant

Explorer
Focused
+1 Strength or Dexterity
You can use a bonus action to cause your next attack with a melee or ranged weapon cause an extra 1d4 damage.

Inspired by my Triton Fighter dilemma, where I want to use an oversized trident(Polearm that does piercing damage, pike stats) but can't take advantage of polearm master(Samurai would fix my problems, but it's AL, so I can't use it and triton). Ranged is included because it makes perfect sense to focus and line up a shot for ranged as well. Intentionally doesn't work with extra attacks, as that would be too much damage per round.

Focused(Alternate idea)
+1 Strength or Dexterity
You can use a bonus action to add 2 damage to each attack you make this turn.

This version scales, but adds 1 less damage on average. I think the optimal power level would be between the 2, but have no idea how to make it happen.

Jewel of the North
Font of Hope
+1 Cha or +1 Wis
- You can keep Inspiration points equals to your Cha or Wis mod, whichever is higher. You can only spend Inspiration once per turn.
- When you have Inspiration and an ally within 30' fails an attack roll, saving throw, or ability check, as a reaction you can spend Inspiration to allow them to re-roll

- You can spend Inspiration as a Reaction when an ally within 30' fall to 0 or less hp to allow him to automatically fall at 0 hp stabilized.
How about just "When you have Inspiration and an ally within 30' fails an attack roll, saving throw, or ability check, as a reaction you can spend Inspiration to allow them to re-roll."

DM Dave1

Adventurer
Hardy

+1 Constitution
Advantage on saving throws to resist disease or exhaustion
Advantage in drinking and eating contests
Reroll 1s and 2s when assigning additional hit points each level

Yep, I dont think that having a broader effect would break the feat. I'll edit my post.

Jewel of the North
Stand the Fallen
+1 Con or +1 Cha
- When next to an Unconscious ally, you can use your Reaction to redirect any Attack roll against the fallen ally towards you.
- If you are conscious, allies next to you have Advantage on Death Saving Throws.

Stubborn
+1 Con or +1 Wis
- You have advantage on saves against any effect that would make you spend your action, bonus action, reaction or move against your will.

Jewel of the North
A new Dawn, a new Day
+ 1 Con or +1 Wis
- After a long rest, you gain Inspiration if you do not already have it
- You recover two level of Exhaustion instead of one after a long rest

Blue

Ravenous Bugblatter Beast of Traal
Well Read
Requirement: At least one INT based skill
+1 INT or +1 WIS
* Gain expertise with one INT based skill you know.
* You may add half your proficiency bonus to any INT based skill that you are untrained in.

Blue

Ravenous Bugblatter Beast of Traal
Enflame Self
+1 STR
Once per day for 10 minutes you have advantage on on STR and CON checks. If you have any Exhaustion you act as if you have two less levels during this time.
If you have or later gain the Rage ability, you instead gain one additional use of that feature, and Rage uses may trigger Enflame Self instead. You may not be both Raging and Enflamed - each will end the previous one.

Blue

Ravenous Bugblatter Beast of Traal
Studied Conversation
+1 INT or +1 WIS
You may add half your INT or WIS mod to any Persuasion, Deception or Intimidation check you make.

Blue

Ravenous Bugblatter Beast of Traal
Unusual Training
+1 to any one ability score
Pick one skill offered by your background or class, it need not be one you have trained. You replace the normal ability score with the ability score you have increased.

Perhaps you Intimidate with acts of potential violence (STR). Or sneak stealthily through awareness of everything that can give you away (WIS).

Blue

Ravenous Bugblatter Beast of Traal
Superior Concentration
+1 CON
You may cast and maintain two spells that require Concentration, as long as both are cast using slots no more than half your highest level slot. So a 7th level caster with a 4th level slot could Concentrate on two spells, each of 1st or 2nd level.

Blue

Ravenous Bugblatter Beast of Traal
Zealot
+1 CHR
* You follow some sort of oath or code. Detail it.
* You gain training in the Knowledge (Religion) or Knowledge (History) skill.
* Choose fiends, fey, undead or celestials as the target of your ire. You have advantage on saves vs. any single target spell or power your target casts on you. If you have disadvantage in any ability checks, attack rolls, or save against the target of your ire, you may ignore it (but not gain advantage on the roll) once per long or short rest.
* On a successful attack roll (of any type), you can spend a HD and add it+CHR mod to damage. This is not limited to just the target of your ire, as long as you believe it is furthering your mission.

Adventurer
Tag Team Specialist
+1 Wis or Cha
* If you have a partner (familiar, animal companion, found steed, or conjured/summoned ally) that you can command to attack, and you make an attack on or cast a spell at a single target, you can use your bonus action to have one partner make a melee attack against that target.

Oh, this is clever. I like it.

Taskmaster (a.k.a. "Whipped")
+1 Dex or Cha
You gain proficiency with the Whip, if you don't have it already.
When you wield a single whip it is considered a light weapon.
