Cooperative Dungeon. I helped write #4 in the series, and I think that Cooperative Dungeons are a great idea in general.

Same here! Hope to see that one come out soon as well, in the mean time #2 is a great adventure that i'd love to run. My campaign is at 5th at the moment, so after the end of the Eberron story arc, they'll be right in there. CD2 in Sharn :)

Ditto.. Er, Tritto. Whatever.

I wouldn't be able to run any of the others easily. And by easily I mean spend less than five minutes and ten cents getting the module. Cost is everything. That, and I worked on one of the later ones.

I disagree, unless the Overload includes a synopsis of the major NPCs of each adventure in the series. I find the adventures are much better when the DM has a full overview of what is going to happen to be able to foreshadow, and to be able to actually link the events to the characters.

This is true. Seeing the writing on the wall, I am already looking into ways to level up a 1st level adventure to handle 12th level (!) adventurers. When leveling up NPCs in this way, I like to do things that make sense. But not knowing what lies ahead, I have this nagging fear that I am going the wrong direction when scaling up encounters.

While I don't know all the other nominees, I still vote for The Whispering Cairn:

The whole idea of the Adventure Path in Dungeon is cool

I love adventures with close ties to the background. And if I don't have to work on that, all the better!

The PCs have to travel around a bit in a rather small area

Eric Mona thought abot NPC's reactions on likely PC actions

All in all, The Whispering Cairn comes across as an very complete adventure.

The idea of an adventure path is cool. But using the first in a series of modules as a one shotor add in for a lot of people, I'm just not getting the appeal.

Yes. I thought the idea was to run a one-shot or insert. Here we are talking about everybody starting a lengthy campaign together. I am not prepared to run WC as a one-shot or fill in. I assumed that it would be more appealing as the beginning of the ful AP, as it is to me.

Likewise, I am running a campaign now, and it is just getting its momentum going. I would be willing to insert a module into it, but not to take weeks off to run something with new characters.

I could run

The Temple
Glacial
coop dungeon

I have a group of 8 characters around level 3-4, so they could deal with one of those.

Given the premise of a concept you started and "rules" you wrote, the irony is worthy of a memorial posting on some Wiki, somewhere.

The idea is to vote on the one you woulkd like, and then no matter what comes up try to get it and run it or play in it in the next couple of months. So please vote for the one you want most.

Before you even started this thread, I posted last week on Paizo.com a thread called "Age of Worms - A Shared Experience?". The thread is over here for those that care.

It seemed a good match with what you were suggesting. It appears that many agreed with that view.

While it's not an ENnie nominated module, Paizo is an ENnie nominated publisher - and their online supplements, of which Age of Worms is a central theme are also ENnie nominated.

Anyways, I'm done talking. Do whatever it is you want to do I guess.

For my part, I'll be interrupting my campaign to run Whispering Cairn. It seems a good excuse to do so and for a good cause.

YMMV.

WEll, its not like I'm disqualify the module. I just think it is an odd choice and no one has really explained how it isn't. It is the first part of a long module and I wasn't thinking of it when I did this since I don't get dungeon. The idea is to have a single mopdule people could all run and talk about it, but while it is getting the most votes it is also the only one people are flat out saying they will not run it. But unless votes take an odd turn it is the one we are stuck with. And I think there was as much irony in my statement as in corn flakes...:p
