I'll speak for the Whispering Cairn.

I love it- it's cool, well-written, with a variety of encounter types and lots of pc choice. That's what I generally like in a module.

I have not read any of the others. They may be great, but I don't know. I voted for WC because I know it's great. The others? Well, I've heard a lot about a couple of 'em, but that's about it.

I don't think anyone who's spoken against WC is doing so on the basis of quality. It's a fantastic adventure, one of the best Dungeon have published since 3e began IMO.

The problem is that it's the first part in a 12 part campaign. A lot of people don't want to run it now, knowing they may well want to run the campaign as a whole at some point in the future.

Yeah. That and it's just not the level range I am playing in. I considered really hard scaling up WC. But though I would like to participate, it's just not worth it to me to spend the time to scale it up. It doesn't fit neatly into my current campaign and if I did one-offs, I'd be taking a break from D&D. I am all about the campaign, and my current one is nowhere near a stopping point.

this will be going to sometime tommorrow, but more then likey threads on running each of these will be started. However, as I won't be running all of them (since I don't have most of them) others will need to really encourage people to participate in them.
