Level 9 feat for my Duskblade

I would suggest practiced spell caster (races of dragon). It lets you lose two spell slots of the same level to cast a spell one level higher. Always comes in handy when you need that one extra spell.
I think it's actually called versatile caster... practiced spellcaster is in C.Arc... and ups your effective caster level by 4, up to your total character level max.

That second part is not true, and I may have meant Dimension Hop.
you're correct on both... sudden silent, still, widen, and extend doen't have any prerequisites.

And D.Hop is on the duskbalde list.

Another interesting Reserve Feat might be Minor Shapeshift, though you need 4th level spells for it... and a polymorph spell. Duh.

Dimensional Jaunt is another nice Reserve feat. With Dimension Hop, you have a 10ft teleport ability.

Yeah... but I'm not letting that one at my table... at least the vigor part... an unlimited amount of temp hps is a little too good. YMMV

Hmmmm. Arcane Strike is indeed pretty good - I have enough first and second level slots, and it's ALL attacks in the round, which is nice.

Is that better than Improved Critical though - another PC fighter has a crystal which makes a weapon keen, though increasingly prefers archery to melee. That would mean a threat on 17+ and it's x4.

Since my spell list isn't that comprehensive and I really want Vampiric Touch, the best reserve feat I can take is the one that lets me do 5' radius 2d6 firebursts. I think I'll leave them for now.

Arcane Strike fits my view of the character the best, though. Flashy and stylish!

Arcane Strike is definitely an awesome choice for 9th level. I am currently building a 10th level Raptoran Duskblade and he will be taking that at 9th :D

Cheers,
E
