Leverage

My official position on this show: Bleh!

I gave it 2 episodes...........just too over the top and unrealistic for me.
Someone comparing it to the A Team seems about right.

You don't like the A-Team? Really? I mean, what... How... ?
:(
Are you even a geek? How did you even find this board?

Just kidding. ;)

Heh. Everything, from tech to scams to politics, is deliberately realistic. They're writing it that way on purpose.

Having an at will back door into CIA, NSA, FBI not really that realistic, and would probably get you a nice cell somewhere in Syria or one of the "Stans" in central Asia.

The very first job in episode 1, when Parker flips in front of the motion sensor, even a cheap one, would set it off. I used to be a regional director for a national Party supply store, I would constantly be notified by alarm companies of suspicious movement inside stores after buisness hours, and it was always the store A/C blowing hanging streamer decoration.

These where not supper high end motion detectors, and after some personal experimentation pretty much concluded that jerky motions, even slight jerky motions will trigger a motion detector right off.

Shows not my cup of tea.

I gotta say, I'm really digging the show. The cons are clever (though there are occasional holes, I can overlook that every now and then), and the show keeps itself light-hearted.

I especially like how all of the flashbacks are completely ridiculous. And the tech guy is damn funny.

I thought the 3rd episode was the weakest so far, but that's still far superior to most shows out there.

We're enjoying it a lot.
