LG vs. CE: Lawful Good is Victorious!

OP has too many HD to be affected as far as the inconvenient conditions, but not to be banished. Rolling a 1 on Snake's CL check did not help. That 1 was supposed to be OP's roll on the saving throw. :)

1 more minion down; four to go. :)

The last line in the spell description is clear that OP will completely unaffected, regardless of CL. It has nothing to do with the ill effects (separate paragraph and all). I am, of course, assuming that the snake's CL was less than 33? ;)

Max slaps (rolled 46-15+5) for 27+16-15. The snake has 53 hp.

I guess OS does not land. He slaps (rolled 47-15+6) for 33+19-15. The snake has 16 hp.

OP slaps (rolled 46-15+2) for 29+13-15. The snake is dead.

Next for CE in round 203: a demonflesh golem. (FF)

A huge (15 foot tall) winged creature that looks like it was stitched together from parts of several demons appears at 75N105E, concentrates, and directs something at St. Stephen.[sblock]destruction OOC: Here's hoping St. Stephen does not have death ward.[/sblock]

I checked out the angle, and it can see St. Stephen easily. I did not think about St. Stephen hiding. The action and starting position would be different if it could not see St. Stephen. Here is what it would do if it could not see St. Stephen.[sblock]Appear at 85N100E and look at Max.[/sblock]

OOC: No, St. Stephen is not explicitly hiding (i.e. using the Hide skill). If the angle supports seeing him, then okay. I just meant that I positioned St. Stephen because I thought being on the center back of the victory zone would allow him to hide (but maybe not). If you can see invisible, then you can note his position prior to entering the arena anyway. He's also Large (and tall), so that probably helps. But, I think St. Stephen should have cover if that makes a difference.

OOC2: Good tactic, btw, trying to get rid of all the minor players. It makes me wish more and more that I'd just gone the powergaming route with 6 dragons. :) There's just not any CR20 (or heck, even 19 or 18) LG options for a gate spell.

OOC: OK. My original move stands, and cover is not an issue.

OOC2: Thank you. I did not see any point in trying to get rid of dragons first. It seemed too Herculean a task. The minor players are useful. I think their buffs or other spells must have made a difference at some time.

I'm not sure if a golem cares about repel evil or not, but it miraculously makes the save anyway! (28 Will save)

The spell has no effect on St. Stephen (21 CL check).
