LG vs. CE: Lawful Good is Victorious!

As Whatizit appears, OS breathes on it. Whatizit doesn't dodge (25 Ref) and takes 126.

Whatizit survives the massive damage (27 Fort) and has 168 hp left. He is shaken by the attack (29 Will save).

Whatizit decides to stick around and give it the ol' college try (36-2 Will save).

Whatizit:[sblock]You can breathe again in round 211. You do not feel like moving north (25-2 Will save)[/sblock]

OS and Max ignore the gas.

OP sucks in the gas, but resists it (42+2 Fort save).

St. Stephen also inhales and resists (37+5-2). He is not afraid of Whatizit either (19+9-2 Will save).

OS:[sblock]You can breathe again in round 211.[/sblock]

OP:[sblock]You know that Whatizit is a zyern, an aberration that hides in thunderclouds and eats anything that moves. You know that it can grab smaller creatures and constrict them with its tentacles, that it is immune to electriicity, and that it has a frightful presence similar to yours.[/sblock]

LM & Co's turn.

I should have named it Whyizit.

Gansk[sblock]In the unlikely event that Whatizit survives until its turn, it will reach out a tentacle and tap the eastern force field three times to get out of there. If a five-foot step is necessary, it will take it.

If Whatizit is still allowed a free action this turn, it will tap out this turn instead. I had actually meant to post that if it had to wait more than one round to breathe again, it would tap out, but I forgot to post that.

Was a CL check necessary for the repulsion effect? Is the repulsion effect part of the Repel Evil ability?[/sblock]

OP says out loud, "Hey, this thing sounds scarier than it really is. I know what it is, by the way, it's a chump."

Round 209 Continued
LM does her thang.

Round 210
OOC: the shield of law=CL17, 17R, expires 226
St. Stephen casts prayer on himself, MR, OP, and whatizit/whyizit. CL 17, 17R, expires 227. Roll SR for MR and OP and maybe even the inconsequential whatwazit. St. Stephen then flies to 110n55e40z.

Maximus Rex steps southeast to 40n60e and tail slaps whyizit with +10 PA and +5 CE. Max tries to hit it in the whatsistan.

Optimus Prime will breathe on it and then fly away to 100n100e40z heading north into the wall.

It's Omega's turn, but I think that thing will be dead.

PJSlavner:[sblock]Since the dragons have all moved around and Whatizit has a 5 Int, let's wait till next round for the tap-out. After the other two dragon attacks, you are panicked anyway. The repulsion is part of the Repel Evil, which is supernatural.[/sblock]

The prayer takes with OP, but not MR nor Whatizit. (36, 33, & 23 CL checks)

Max slaps (rolled 44-15+4) for 29+11-15. Whatizit has 143 hp.

Whatizit does not dodge (17-2 Ref) and takes 89. It survives the massive damage (18-2 Fort) and has 54 hp left.

OP:[sblock]You can breathe again in round 213.[/sblock]

Omega Supreme's turn.

Max clamors, "Oooo, it has a tough hide! This may be interesting after all."

Round 210 Continued
Omega Supreme flies around to 30n100e40z and tail slaps Whatizit with +15 power attack (the tail slap occurs on a flyby at 30ft reach).

Your turn, Whatizit.

Omega Supreme whacks (rolled 43-15+6) for 34+19-15. Whatizit has 16 hp left.

Whatizit heals to 26 hp, takes a 5 foot step to the east, and taps out with a tentacle.

A huge black dragon appears at 0N90E and breathes a cloud of shadows at Max and OS.[sblock]If the dragon has to wait for two or more rounds to breathe again, it taps out with its tail. Also, I have no idea where there are daylight spells in the arena.[/sblock]

It would only get one attack, and it would provoke an AoO that would most likely kill it when it moved into range to attack.

No, it is the dragon's turn, which has not been resolved yet.

Round 210: The dragon decides to stick around long enough to breathe (34 Will save).

OS ignores the breath. Max does not dodge the breath (21+5 Ref save).

Max gains 5 negative levels and now has 435 hp left.

St. Stephen is not frightened by the attack (34+9-2 Will save).

Shadow Dragon:[sblock]You can breathe again in round 213. There are nine daylight spells scattered evenly throughout the arena, leaving virtually no place to hide.[/sblock]

The dragon taps out with its tail. It is teleported out instantly and next combatant takes its place.

Next for CE in round 210: Iyriddelmirev the very old black dragon. (Draconomicon)
