LG vs. N: Lawful Good Victorious!

Round 141

The hippogriff sniffs the mist, takes a 5 foot step to 80N30E, and attacks with one claw.

Hits! (Rolled 15, beat miss chance) 6 points of damage! The wolf drops.

Round 142: The wolf is defeated!

Next up for LG: a senmurv. (FF) It goes first in round 142. The mist remains.

The hippogriff (now at 80N30E right) launches into the air toward the center of the side, rising to 50N30E80Z on powerful strokes of his wings as he surveys to find where his new opponent is and spirals to face it.

(declare the winged-doggy my Dodge buddy)

Considering the hippogriff's mobility and the visibility of the mist, the best it can do is exit the mist at 65N30E25Z, facing south.

Round 143:

The dog flies to 60N25E20Z and misses with its bite. (Rolled 11)

The hippogriff attempts to grapple the bothersome little thing, happy to plummet to the ground on top of it.

(I'm going to be offline from now until Fri morning, so feel free to handoff if desired. Attempt grapple - three attempts with full attack if i remember my rules, but I'm posting fast. Fall on the thing and tear it to pieces.)

The hippogriff tries to move into the dog's square. The dog bites viciously with the AoO! (Rolled 16) 16 points of damage! The hippogriff has 3 hp left.
It moves in and grabs with a claw! (Rolled 16 touch, 28 vs. 25 Grp check) The dog takes 1 point of damage and has 27 hp left.

Round 144:

The hippogriff starts to fall, but the dog's wings slow them both to a soft landing. (Rolled 26 vs. 14 Grp check)

The hippogriff flails away and misses! (Highest roll 16-4=12)

Round 145: The dog flails away and claws the hippogriff with its hind leg. (Rolled 23-4=19)

12 points of damage! The hippogriff is defeated!

Next up for N: a grimalkin. (MM II) It goes next in round 145. The senmurv is at 60N25E and it is a large creature (big wingspan).

The grimalkin's polymorph choices are donkey, horned lizard, jackal, black widow, tarantula, scorpion, or leopard.

The grimalkin slips in, shifting from a blue-grey cat to sleek leopard and pacing towards the center of the arena. All the while it seems like it just won't shut up as it speaks in Common:

"Hey there, gosh that looked like it hurt, maybe it'd just be better if you just stepped off the arena. Those wings, they're very pretty, kinda smudged with blood but still very nice."

(end turn at 60N50E in leopard form)

(For black window/tarantula - just use monstrous medium spider?
For jackal - same as hyena stats, or are you drawing from another source?)

OOC: The spiders are monstrous spiders of any size up to medium. The jackal has the same stats as a dog in the MM.

Round 146: The dog-bird thing moves to 60N35E and tries to bite the leopard (10' reach).

Miss! (Rolled 11)

The grimalkin moves in and brings all the sharp pointy bits of his leopard form to bear against the dog-bird.

"Hey pretty dog bird, that's a long neck you got there, pretty feathers too [snap! claw! claw!]"

(5" step to 60N45E and Full Attack. Will definitely attempt to use the Improved Grab if the bite hits. Either way, as long as grimalkin can get a full attack and a grapple attempt he'll keep doing it.)
