LG vs. N: Lawful Good Victorious!

Kacdan would have hit (rolled 47-8=39; 20% miss), but the part of John she is aiming for disappears just as she bites. As she flies by, the part of John that swung at Kacdan must have disappeared (natural 1).

Round 655

The mist and locusts disappear.

John turns and flies to 80N90E90Z, northbound.

A window in space opens up near Kacdan, who does not get out of its way (rolled 17 Ref save). The window disappears, along with Kacdan.

Next in round 655 for Lawful Good is an adult radiant dragon (Draconomicon).

It has 11 ranks in Knowledge (local); 19 ranks in Concentration and Intimidate; 20 ranks in Search; 23 ranks in Knowledge (nobility), Listen, and Spot; and 24 ranks in Knowledge (arcana, dungeoneering, religion, the planes).

It does not know what its opponent is.

It has the feats Combat Expertise, Empower Spell-like Ability (Searing Light), Enlarge Breath, Flyby Attack, Hover, Improved Initiative, Power Attack, Recover Breath, and Snatch.

24 ranks and it still doesn't know? Egad, this beast must have HD to spare. :)

A brilliant-looking Perkus Brightenus gets thrown into the arena all the way to 80N60E. Perkus stands up and then breathes a line of force at John.

Too many hit dice, if you ask me.
Note my edit from my previous post about disappearing magical things.

The line of force just reaches John, who, not surprisingly, does not dodge (Ref save 18), taking 63 points of force damage. John has 86 HP remaining. Perkus Brightenus can breathe again next round.

Round 656

John turns west, then south, going down to 60N60E40Z.

A window in space opens up near Perkus, who manages to get out of its way (rolled 30 Ref save). The window disappears.

Perkus Brightenus breathes for 73 points of force damage, which John takes fully (rolled 16 Ref save). John has 13 HP remaining. Perkus can breathe in round 658.

Round 657

John makes a slow turn, flying down and landing at 75N45E. Perkus bites John with AoO (rolled 38-4=34) for 17 points of damage. John is dying. :D

A window in space opens up near Perkus, who manages to get out of its way (rolled 30 Ref save again). The window disappears.

Perkus has a turn before the next Neutral creature comes in.

Perkus struggles not to take a full round action to breathe a sigh of relief, but acknowledges the wildly cheering LG faction in the crowd. Perkus instead will hover straight up to 80n50e50z. Since he's on the ground, does he need to spend a move action to first start hovering, or can he go right into hovering motion? If the latter, he'll ready an empowered searing light against the first opponent within range.

To begin hovering, a creature with the Hover feat has to already be flying, then it can halt and begin hovering as a move action. This means Perkus will have to start flying as a move action, then hover from the spot he stopped at as another move action, so he cannot go straight up.

The booing becomes so loud that Psybo has to liberally sprinkle silence spells all over the place just to keep the stands and Shearing Pen from shaking apart.

OOC: You have got to be freakin' kidding me. There's yet another miserable, rassafrassin' rilmani? Say it isn't so!
