Remember the twenty foot high wall of blades across the arena at 65E.

A large, powerfully muscled humanoid with golden skin strides confidently into the arena to 60N70E. He concentrates, and two copper skinned humanoids wielding longbows appear at 50N50E and 50N55E.

C1 and C2 each point their fingers at Perkus, and two crackling black bolts strike Perkus (rolled 26, 28 ranged touch). Neither bolt has any effect (CL checks 18, 22). C1 moves to 40N50E, and C2 moves to 70N50E.

Perkus recognizes Golden Boy as an aurumach rilmani. He knows it outsider traits; it heals very quickly; and it has spell-like abilities (two of which are cone of cold, greater dispel magic)

Round 658

Golden Boy dodges (Ref save 30), but C1 does not (Ref save 20). C1 takes 84 points of force damage and survives the massive damage (Fort save 24). Golden Boy takes 42 points of force damage.

Golden Boy is in the Hall of Fame if damage to summoned creatures counts.

C1 has 30 HP remaining, and Golden Boy has 142 HP remaining. Perkus can breathe again in round 660.

Round 659

Golden Boy heals up to 147 HP. Golden Boy concentrates, then flies through the wall of blades to 25N30E, a golden halberd appearing in his hands. Perkus gets an AoO if desired.

C1 moves to 40N45E, points, and an arrow of acid hits Perkus (24 ranged touch). Perkus takes 6 points of acid damage. Perkus has 270 HP remaining.

C2 concentrates, with no apparent effect, and stays at 70N50E.

Two questions. (1) Why would Golden Boy go into the HoF? (2) Oops -- didn't realize Perkus landed. Just the one question then.

Perkus will definitely take his AoO. Please let me know how that turns out before Perkus decides on his next action.

What is the HoF? If you mean the wall of blades, it is because he knows his spell resistance is good enough to ignore it, given the source.

As Perkus bites Golden Boy on approach, a magnificent suit of golden full plate armor appears on Golden Boy's body. Perkus manages to bite Golden Boy anyway (rolled 37) for 23-15=8 points of damage. Golden Boy has 139 HP remaining.

I assume it's "Hall of Fame" (from the earlier post). I'm curious too.

PJS meant to say that Perkus would go to the Hall of Fame for 84 damage with his breath weapon.

Let's see him do it to Golden Boy first, then he can go into the Hall of Fame.
