I didn't like much of the art. Way too much Jeremy Jarvis and Tom Baxa; and I strongly dislike the art styles of both. I'm much less interested in this book than I was before I saw the art gallery. Not only is the art not very good, but it's a good indicator of content that's not very good too, I think...

I guess I am the only one who likes the cover. It reminds me of a mix of Sutherland and Erol Otus, very nostalgic and I think that is what they were going for in it. I guess most people didn't get it.

I saw the picture of the dire maggot and I thought, what in the Sam Hill is that the larvae of? Kinda stupid creature concept if you ask me.

Anyways, the images and some of the other previews have moved me from, aaa maybe to just plain maybe. Nothing yet stands out that says I gotta buy this, yet. I haven't looked at the book. By the by, I was the same way with the Dragonomicon, then I looked at the book and said I had to buy it. So we'll see.
