So, does anyone have any good spoilers for “Libris Mortis: The Book of Undead” that you care to share?

If so, would you be so kind as to post them here?

Hmm, well, it will have a feat that lets your character react like an undead to positive and negative energy; the former harms you and the latter heals you. A character in the Adventure Path a few issues back had that feat.

Likewise, the Eberron campaign book has a listing of some monsters that will be in the MM3 - those can be found over in the Monster forums here on EN World.

The feat is in "Secrets of the Soul Pillars", DUNGEON 109. The only other news that I have found about Libris Mortis is the Andy Chamber quote:

Do you mean something like "DMs can look forward to getting full game statistics for dozens of sample undead using the templates from the Monster Manual, making it super-easy to drop a bunch of cool zombies or a nasty vampire into their campaign"?

Frankly, I'm little worried. Libris Mortis is only 196 pages, and it they have put "dozens of sample undead" in the book, there is less space for something really new. I dont' need dozens of "template examples!"

I hear it will have poorly translated Latin, and possibly some undead.

i get the same impression.

maybe it will be written in a dead language translated by babel fish for a japanese gurl somewhere on the internet.

Thanx for the link, Alzirus.

I quite agree. Hopefully it won't take up too much space in the back of the book, and the rest of it will be as useful as the Draconomicon was.

Although this stuff may seem boring, I think it would be quite handy... but of course there are too many combinations possible, and when they are going to choose which ones get printed, I am sure they choose the most crappy ones, including the obligatory Half-Orc Monk Mummy
