Lich Queen's Beloved

Dungeon #84 has an adventure called the Harrowing for 15th-level characters. It would probably tie in nicely with CotSQ as well, as it is drow-themed and takes the party into the Demonweb. We enjoyed it alot.

Well the whole point of COTSQ is that Lolth has fallen silent.

The Demonweb's would probably be pretty lonely around now.

Ahh. I've never really read CotSQ all the way through, so I didn't know the end result. :o

It might still work for you, as the main focus is on Lolth's daughter, Laveth, not the Spider Queen herself.

Yes. Issue 84 was te first issue I had bought since issue 2.

And there were two adventures in it that I fell in love with. The first was, of course, the Dungeon of the Fire Opal - as it is the dungeon from the 1eAD&D DMG, and had my retro-senses tingling.

But the coup de grace was, without a doubt, the Harrowing. It's an AWESOME adventure by Monte Cook about dealing with a daughter of Lolth trying to take over the demonwebs.

Wasn't there a drow-related/Underdark-y adventure trilogy just recently published in Dungeon? QUOTE]

I think you mean the trilogy set in Istivin. "Touch of the Abyss" in #117, "Shadow of the Abyss" in #118, and "Wrath of the Abyss" in issue #119.

I just checked up on Issue 84 (the turning point issue for me - the one with the level 15 module by Monte Cook, and the Dungeon of the Fire Opal from the old DMG), and unfortunately, it is no longer available from Paizo.

I also really like the illo of Llaveth on the cover.

Purty...

Hey,
I got my hands on an old copy of Dragon 309, but it looks like there was a follow up article on the Gith in Polyhedron. Does anyone have any idea which issue it was, if it is worth getting my hands on, and where I could get a copy.

Thanks.

That's the one we've been talking about in Dungeon / Polyhedron.

It's in issue 100 of Dungeon / Issue 159 of Polyhedron.

INCURSION
"The Lich Queen’s Beloved"
The Incursion has begun! Dungeon’s contribution to this three magazine project sends the PCs to the Palace of Whispers in the githyanki capital city on the Astral Plane. There, the characters must brave the githyanki lichqueen’s deadliest tricks and traps to stop her quest for godhood. A D&D adventure for 18th-level characters.

KNIGHTS OF THE LICH-QUEEN
Take the role of the enemy in the Knights of the Lich-Queen Mini-Game, in which you play a githyanki invading a Prime Material world. The rest of Incursion assumes you’re the good guys.We know you better than that.
