Lingering Wrath to strong?

Fighters already like Wisdom, so its not that big of a deal, though I can see it being worse for Tempests, unless they forego the benefit of lighter armor so they can ignore Dex/Int.

I'm not sure it's scarier than a Ranger multi-classed into pit fighter. You're doing more +Wis damage with the scourge, but a base ranger is also doing more damage with his quarry.

It may not be correct, but what I would rule is...

You use your IW power, get the bonus damage from Fiery Rebuke when you use the power (per a strict reading of FR). Lingering Wrath specifies only your damage from IW, so for the rest of the encounter you only get your normal IW bonus. You've only used IW once, and thus FR only applies once.

I don't have a particular problem with Ferocious Rebuke, but the same line of reasoning could be used.

This is how I would rule it as well.

yeah, surely you can use lingering wrath and marked scourge, but more than Pit fighter, you might want to be a Warfiend. If you miraculously get all those stats decently high...

I don't have a problem with it. Tieflings before the feats made terrible fighters. Now they make passable fighters.

I'm also noticing that the races are developing role tendencies. For example, all Half-Elves have some leader stink on them. All dwarves have some defender characteristics. Perhaps Tieflings are intended to feel a bit strikerish.

Yes, I agree that this is intended. But I'd say it's only natural, since it fits both flavor and racial mechanics.
