Lizard Bewbs?

Ok, so now that Dragonbewbs are back, do dragonborns birth live young or lay eggs? In other words to Dragonbewbs do anything?

Live birth and mammery glands have nothing to do with one another.

Fish have been giving live birth for at least 380 Million Years

Dragonbewbs just mean that baby dragonborn don't have to have well-developed digestive systems and jaws when they're born. It's not especially important. If it worries you that much I can point out at least one old legend where a dragon was using a human as a wet nurse.

I'm gonna go with lay eggs. That way I can play a character with poison breath, boobs, and egg-laying.

Now, if I can just get my DM to let me have some sort of electroreception then I'll have the platyborn I've always wanted.

Dragonboobs don't do anything. Except bring scalies/furries.
So it's a marketing decision? WotC decided that bringing those scalies and furries was more profitable than having female dragonborn without boobs?

If that is the case, I don't see how we can blame WotC for having good business sense. They don't create scalies/furries, they just sell them things.

The decisions made by the art department and designers in the 4e PHB (only book I've had a look at) make me wonder if any professional design company, be it for books or games or crpgs, in America knows how to create a gorram sense of style that is consistent and aesthetically pleasing. Say what you will about "anime" influences, but the korean games have got style down pat and don't try to make putty-face bland craptastical bumpmap textured models.

Hate to tell you but it isn't going to draw in furry/scalies. You can get a lot better art of that sort. Furries/Scalies have been playing D&D since the days of B&W line-drawing in brown paper pamphlets. They don't need WoTC to do the art when they've got one of the most productive artistic communities on the net.

I approve of lizardboobs, and all other boobs. Everything is better with boobs and the bigger the better. So go team boob!

Honestly, everyone, it's just artwork. Does it say in the description that female dragonborn have mammaries? If not, then what's the problem. If you don't want them to have boobs in your game, then they don't have them. The art is just one person's interpretation. Do female dwarves have beards? Can halflings grow facial hair, or are they all chubby? I think you get my point.

"Goddamn" is not, in fact, caught by the bad words filter, you know.

There are an immense number of scalies/furries out there, and most of them like RPing, and they usually function in the fantasy vein, so it really is a good move.

Though the ones who play dragons (or griffons or kitsune) are usually the more... controversial. D:

Outside of that, it's generally accepted wisdom that people prefer humans with makeup on more than actually unique beings, for whatever reason. You're going to have an easier time selling a Klingon than a Modron.

Besides, it's not like the artists listen to anyone anyways, based on the tiefling art vs. descriptions.

Never. Dragonboobs are ridiculous and serve only to further objectify women.

I don't think many girls or wemon would play dragonborn if they had man boobs. I think your confusing the real issue here. In fantasy boobs happen. Its just the way of things.

My girlfriend said she refused to play dragonborn when she herd thy had no boobs. I'm working on a book with illustrations and who is it that asks for more boobs? my girlfriend. Who complains when the boobs look ugly? My girlfriend. So i find your statements hard to accept due to my personal experiences. I understand your experiences differ from mine though, and I am fully willing to hear your side.
