(LONG!!) Some Player's are Complete @$$'s!!!

Lets see. If I have read this correctly, this person is not a "roleplayer", he is a Chaotic Neutral poseur munchkin ruining your game, yes? Sit him down, point out his mental defencies, and boot him.

Okay looks like afew of you are confused about some of the stuff. Lets see what I cna sort out here:

1. There are two games.
2. The problem player reffered to as (LG) runs one.
3. The person who is the other DM is the one who
in (LG's) games was forced to:
A. Become lawful good.
B. Take an aristcrat level.
C. Loose vampire spawn template.
D. Rule kingdom.
4. The campaign run by LG does not have me or varius in it. I left alogn time ago because the DM could not understand the rules and forced players into things that fit his own ammusment. Did I mention that LG has gone through 5 other players besides me including varius. All quit or were kicked because of DM problems.
5. Hopefully I have cleared up the confusion on that topic, next brings us to the Game me and Varius are in.
A. The player who was forced into all of the above is the DM:
B. He has posted afew times in here, under the name Shinanofran I think, please correct spelling.
C. LG plays a Lawful Good Cleric/Celestial, Varius as a Barbarian/Fighter/Ranger/Blood Hound/Consecrated Harrier (I may have a class wrong in there). I play as a Neutral Cleric/Fighter/Templar. There is also a Lawful good Paladin who is brother to LG in game.
D. Both LG & paladin are royalty, The Paladin's player has the tendency to follow what LG wants.
E. LG often trys to isolate Varius and Myself from the npcs and other pc's so that he has the central power and say's he is roleplaying.
6. Now we come to the overlineing problems;
A. Killing a pc isn't gonna make fix things (but will make us feel better for awhile)
B. LG more then likely would quit and cry and take it outside of game context.
C. DM is feels that we hate LG outside of game. (Don't hate him, we are slightly annoyed and feel he needs to learn a lesson)
D. LG would meta-game in a instant to save his own skin and get gains over te party, then turn around and say "Its roleplaying, ignore the rules DM, jsut go with what he say's Guy's". Meanwhile would complain if a rule is not broken when it suits him.
Example: afew months back i was running a game with him in it He saw our the parties npc cleric fallign into a pit trap. Well he decided to grab a rope and belly flop into the 30ft. spiked pit to get him out. The rope is well 50ft. long and not attacted to anything. he hits the ground takes the full damage and is mad because I didn't allow someone to grab the rope, since it was all within a round.
E. Varius wants to kill him immediately, with no concern for ingame concequences, I agree with the murder/death butcher part because I have put up with alot, but would like to wait and see how it can be played out.
F. Varius has had to put up with 2 years of LG kicking him his game, and trying to get varius kicked from everygame the two of them are in. I think I would be alittle urked two.
G. LG wanted the game split into two new games. One with "Roleplayers" and one for me and Varius". This would have been a 2/3-4 split. I think its safe to assume I would not have played a 2 player game, so essientially he was trying yet again to get Varius and myself kicked.

Is this guy 12? I would tell the DM and the player that you two aren't having fun anymore due to his bull:):):):) and tell them to fix it or you will leave the game. If the DM is such a pansy that he won't do anything about it then just find another game or put up with it.

well flexor, from what i can gather from this their dm is also their friend, and LG is the dm's friend but not valicor and varius' friend. so that makes "doing something about it" a bit of a problem.

seriously though guys, do some in game stuff to provoke him into doing something that would honestly draw the wrath of your characters. things like buying celestial bane swords and letting him know that you have them. if you can find a prestige class that will help you deal with his character then take it, or just take some ranger levels and take one of his parts as your favored enemy, become blackguards and send your fiendish servants after him, whatever needs to be done here. holy warrior gives you smite infidel (though that will not help the N cleric of all gods out much) so even if your allignment is close to his it will still work. also guys remember this is supposed to be fun, if it's not why are you continuing the campaign.

poor shinanofran, dming for players who hate eachother usually ends up like this. i would like to hear LG's side of things before offering you advice but that's probably not going to happen so here is what i can give you for now. LET THEM SORT IT OUT AMONGST THEMSELVES. if they can't/won't do that, perhaps this group was not meant to be a group, clearly they want different things from a campaign.

V & V seem perfectly willing to let LG have his time in the sun but LG seems to have a problem with V & V getting equal time. from the one sided info we have here it seems that LG is the problem player. eventually it might be best for all involved if you simply ended the game and started a new one that didn't involve one of the two groups.

So are you going to off him?

So what are your plans now? From what you have said it
seems likely that LG will continue his annoying ways, do the
two of you still plan to kill his pc?
