Looking for a 3.5 monster

In previous editions there was a monster called a Decapus. It looked almost like an octopus with 10 limbs, a bloated globe-like body, and had a big toothy mouth.

Does anyone know of anything similar to this in 3.0 or 3.5? Preferably a WotC book since I don't own any other books.

The Tomb of Horrors revised (a pdf from Necromancer games) has a 3.5 decapus, as well as the other new monsters from Module B3. I would highly recommend the pdf -- I've certainly got my money's worth.

Nah, here it is. Decapus. Nasty little critter. I think I would give it a good Hide score and some camoflague and just a smidge more Dexterity. Not to be trifled with by low level characters at all!

Edit: 9 attacks at +6 plus a bite attack and a rend for every 3 tentacle hits at CR 4? Sweet Fancy Moses!

Quasi-threadjack. I put off this purchase for the longest time. I was annoyed they didn't print the revised edition, so I held off. But I just checked it at DriveThruRPG...10 bucks? Paypal accepted? I'm there! Considering I wind up scanning and printing most beasties I use during a session anyway, this is great.

it should work well for you then. admittedly, i haven't checked out the revised edition so far as much as i would have liked to, but the original was certainly good stuff, and i'm sure the revised version was even better.
