Looking for a prestige class

Borthos

First Post
So I'm going to be in an upcoming game this weekend, 7th level and I can't decide on classes. I'm torn between a thri-keen shield fighter, a druid, or a monk/cleric/sacred fist (DMM ftw!).

I'm looking for a druid PrC that I used to know about and a friend used in a campaign but I can't find it. Each level (I think) it gave you a choice from a list of options and the biggest one I remember is it gave you an AC bonus equal to your level in the class.

Anybody help me out?

Edit: besides the one I'm looking for, what are good PrC's for a druid?

Also, you can cast Magic Weapon on a monk's UAS, right?

Yes, you can. As stated on page 41 of the PH, a monk’s unarmed strike “is treated as both a manufactured weapon and a natural weapon for the purpose of spells and effects that enhance or improve either.”

Take a look at my Mendicant class. It is a variant of the monk with some powers similar to a druid, a wilderness oriented unarmed combatant...

You might consider swapping out OA Shaman for Cleric, especially after the 3.5Ed update in Dragon #318 by original OA designer James Wyatt.

You don't have the armor proficiency you won't need; still a full divine caster w/medium BAB; one extra domain (eventually); his unarmed strikes both improve with level AND stack with monk. They converse with spirits, and may even turn spirits instead of undead, as I recall.

For other stuff, check the monk database in my sig.

Master of Many Forms (Whoops! Browser Settings Incompatible) if you want to destroy people with Wild Shape even harder (although you lose casting). You can supplement that with Nature's Warrior or Warshaper.
Planar Shepard (Whoops! Browser Settings Incompatible) is also a great choice - full casting with some awesome Wild Shaping buffs. Honestly, I'd pick Druid 5/Planar Shepard 10/Warshaper 5, if I were in the business of making a new druid.
Who doesn't want to Wild Shape into an Efreeti for free Wishes all day long? Who doesn't want 10 actions to everyone else's 1?

Moonspeaker, if you grab the Shifter variant, is pretty great.

There are base classes that just don't need PrCs.

Planar Shepherd aside, the best class to take once you reach Druid 5 is more Druid. Druid 6-20 sounds just about right. Class features (almost) every level, more casting, more wildshape, more animal companion. Three of the most powerful class features out there, and all get progressed every level, AND you get other stuff? What's not to love?

Planar Shep is regarded by most as the Druid prestige class of choice if Ebberon material is allowed. I don't think any of the class features are specific to the campaign setting so it shouldn't be a problem.

I also personally like Lion of Talisid from Book of Exalted Deeds. You get full druid casting, full animal companion progression, and only lose 1 or 2 levels of Wild Shaping. The class gives you some nice abilities such as Pounce and a fairly powerful spell like ability at 10th level.

Sounds like Nature's Warrior from Complete Warrior.
