Whoever told you that clearly gave you misinformation. There are no viruses in Hero Lab. We've been publishing our own software for 12 years now and have tens of thousands of users of our products. If we included viruses, we wouldn't be in business, as Iron Wolf aptly pointed out.

Hero Lab has no viruses, but make sure when you are looking for Hero Lab ( or any software ) that you are getting it from the right company.

Like most software, I imagine there are plenty of websites out there claiming to offer Hero Lab for download (perhaps even saying its a free download) and what you end up with is a computer infected with malware.


Edit: lonewolfdevel - Since custom is what he's after, does the demo of Hero Lab allow him to play with those tools to see if its to his liking?
