First off, the minor irksome bits: WHY! Why, why, why, why, why. Why are there so freaking many references to so many other books? Perhaps an overreaction, but if they reprinted the pseudonatural template and the gibbering mouther, which is freaking CORE, why coudn't they have given me the death tyrant, brain golem, and other such things?[/rant]
Now, the good: When I saw the player feats, there was a literal sharp intake of breath at the coolness. I love 'em. The anatomy parts for the aberrations are nice, and the neogi are cool. I like the Spelljammer stuff, despite never having owned or read the setting, because Spelljammer in general is such a cool thing.
Well, short, disjointed rant-view over.
