Is there anything like tentacles that are attached to the arm, which allow the user to grapple from 5' away?

Not that I found in the list at the end of the book. I may have missed something scattered through the book elsewhere.

[Edit] Found something. There is an Aberrant feat, Inhuman Reach. As an Aberrant feat it requires you to have the Aberration Blood feat as a prerequisite. It grants an additional 5 feet to your reach. You take a –1 penalty to attack all melee attack rolls though.

What are the other aberrations briefly detailed? All of the MM ones including Chuuls, Destrachans, and Chokers?

There is a sidebar that fills 7/8ths of a page on The Origin of the Chuuls.

There is a sidebar that mentions other aberrations in other sources, with brief mention of their characteristics and theme. Among the list are the Avolakia, Ethergaunt, Gibbering Orb, Ha-Naga, Hook Horror, Ineffable Horror, Ixitxachitl, Naga, Neh-Thelaggu, Nilshai, Nothic, and Yurian. Each merit at most a five line paragraph each saying their source and what they do.

Here and there many other aberrations are noted here and there as occasional allies of the "stars", or as worshippers of certain deities,

Speaking of sidebars, I liked the one called "Why Don't Beholders Disintigrate The World?"

[Edit]Occassionally, other aberrations show up as statblocks in the various short encounters. Intellect Devourers, for instance, appear as a statblock in one.

The Silthilar are a very cool CG aberration- fey that blew themselves up so that their bits are now swarms (that can poorly reconstruct their original shape). They are masters of beneficial grafts and healing (I would give them cure spells as well) and know biology inside and out- to the point where they can turn any living creature into any other living creature. They are still creatures of the forest and I see them allying with elves and changing invading humanoids into deer and squirrels.

Umm ... there's nothing like that in LoM. The only thing I can think of is "Craft Aboleth Glyph", which exists both in a magical and psionic variant. Maybe you confused these?

Aboleth seal? Sounds interesting.

Actually, any advice on how to work Aboleths into a game would be great, they're a fantastic monster, but being aquatic, getting them involved is a pain.

I've seen mention of a feat called Craft Psionic Seal, is it a new type of item creation feat?

It's like Scribe Tattoo in that they are inscribed on flesh, but also on anything else like doorrs, floors, weapons, etc. Caster or manifester level is minimum required to cast or manifest. Holds spells or powers of 3rd level or lower. Prereqs of Int 15, psionic ability (includes spell-like abilities described as psionics, psi-like abilities, or psionic power), and caster or manifester level 7th.

A single Medium size of smaller object or smaller can hold one psionic seal. Larger objects can hold on seal per 100 square feet of surface area. Creatures can hold only one seal at a time, regardless of size. When set on an object it can be set to respond to one of three events. When touched and willed to activate, when touched at all, or when creature with specific observable characteristics move within 5 feet (in which case the seal must be in plain view, not hidden). Harmful seals on objects are considered magical traps. Seals on creatures activate when the wearer touches it and wills it. A standard action that provokes. When triggered, it fades away

I had an idea for a Far Realm cult leader before the book came out, he was a Shadow Half-Farspawn (originally the idea was that he was psuedonatural) Human (though base race is sort of undecided) Seer. What kind of neat stuff could be used for him when I actually decide to stat him out?

The non-euclidian template comes to mind as does the amorphous template. If he is near water, then give him the aquatic subtype and some psudonatural eels and sea serpents that protect his underwater lair. If he is near a forest, the arborial template and some PN squirrels or PN arborial wolves for allies (or use both and make the squirrels scary). For a plain terrain, the quickling template (from AB) and PN ogre amalgam cheetas. Or, to be really evil, give him wings (two different ones) and flying PN alligators and vipers. Underground provides some interesting options- earth glide from the elemental being the most powerful. PN cloakers with earth glide and a moan that passes through stone could be a pack of party killers. Or a half-farspawn purpleworm that is ethereal could make their day a little more unpleasant.

As for non-allies, I suggest chaos infused magical items (like the wand of wonder, but use charts for weapons and armor- Arms and Armor 3.5 comes in handy here).
