Applicable Knowledge

And what of the Loremaster's Applicable Knowledge secret? Can any feat be chosen for or must you have the prereq's? I'd assume that their wording of "Any one feat" shouldn't be taken literally?

In order to select a feat, no matter what the source of that feat is, you have to have the prereqs. Cases where this is not true (such as Ranger Two-weapon fighting) are specifically mentioned in the text.
