Lost 4/6/05 SPOILERS!

I am also wonder if there are not two forces at work on the island; the island being nature and the other power something artificial. Locke's power to walk was taken away to either to try and stop him from actions OR was his legs taken away to get him to give up Boone.

It is possible that Locke really is not as nice as we would like to think, and the "my legs are giving out" was an act by Locke to get Boone to go up into the plane. Locke did have a vision of Boone all bloody before they set out for the plane...

Yes, a lot of people have wondered about this thought.

If that's the case then he was really method acting, don't you think? Wasn't he alone when he was back at camp probing his legs for sensation after they began to give out on him?

Incidentally, that implies that his inability to walk was accompanied by a loss of sensation in his legs. That would mean that he's either got some kind of nerve disfunction (like his spinal column being damaged) or one hell of a psychological problem denying him the use of his legs. I'm guessing it is the former, which would tell us that the island has some pretty impressive healing powers.

Considering Charlie was strung up for a long time and came back to life and had no brain damage, I already figured it did. :)

In that same vision he saw himself in a wheelchair again and he could not stand up. I beleive he actualy fell from the chair.

If Boone really is dead, it's nice to see I was right in that poll. And for me, it's nice to see that Boone is gone. Now for Shannon...

My recollection is that he fell from the chair. I really don't believe he was faking the not being able to walk.

Ok, since I was perhaps being too cryptic and, probably, no one clicked the link:

The name of the actor who plays the Sleestack leader in Land of the Lost was... Jon Locke.

Well, not to discount the importance of this, but I figured the significance of the character had more to do with this guy.
