So far, interesting. It just feels like build up to the season finale though.
Jumpin' the gun on me eh?

And I agree, so far...

getting interesting with Walt (can he read minds?) and the Kate and Sawyer conflict

Best Sawyer nickname of the week: Sulu (Jin)

Walt and his two creepy moments. Can he read minds? Does he want off because he knows they'll open the hatch or because the others are comnig?

What was up with Kate's mom, was she just delusional or was their more to it?

Kate's background was predictable once it started. You knew dude was going to bite it.

Anyone notice the flash of Hurley looking at the hatch during the scenes from next week? A lot of significance there with the numbers.

Maybe both? Maybe the others are IN the hatch/bunker, and will come out if it's opened?

Though every time they mention the others my mind thinks of the others from the Song of Ice and Fire books, and I expect hordes of undead to attack the Lost crew. :p

No, I think Kate did something even worse than we've seen and her Mom wanted her gone. I expected her to grasp at Kate's hand, then knock it away in rejection :)

Or, she could have thought Kate was dead all this time and it freaked her out.

I liked how it showed her manipulative side. Getting Soon to do her dirty work so she could get a spot on the raft... brilliant. Now we know the significance of the previous girl's death :)

And nice to see the science teacher. He could become important later on.

A lot in this one, Kate's background makes you wonder who she is running from and what she did to even have her mom fear her! And all those tags, not a normal thief there.

Another person with death so close.

Jack and Locke. Kate and Sawyer. Kate and Jack. mmmmmmm.

Walt and...

New character: The history guy.

Next week's looks even better!

Cool episode, can't wait for next week!

My hunch is that Kate killed her father or something. Maybe he was abusive? The tape recording of her as the child, telling the boy that she wants to run away for reasons she says he knows, but doesn't mention.

It was interesting to see that she had manipulated Sun like that. I didn't see that coming. When Jack figured out it was Sun, and said "I don't see any reason to have to tell everyone". I was wondering what the hell? Did he not know that there was the huge fiasco with people accusing Sawyer and Kate? But maybe Jack knew and was just pushing the buttons.

The Kate and Sawyer interplay was great. It seems somewhat obvious that she isn't "evil" by nature. But how far will she go not to get caught? We know she's already killed associates, and now gotten other people killed by her actions.

I don't know what to think about Walt's foreshadowing, but next week looks exciting :)

Edit:

Oh yeah the science teacher was cool, I look forward to seeing more of him.

[Scooby Doo voice]Hurrrnnh?[/SDv] We do? We saw her shoot her compatriots in the legs, but I didn't see her kill them. Did I miss something?
