Without hardly thinking Lorn blankets the lizards in fire, they screech as most of their number are burnt to a crisp, the rest run for cover of the jungle, the advantage of numbers they had is now gone.
Drawing from Hesh's bravery, Lorn calls upon the jewel's magic and unleashes a blast of grasping darkness at the drakes. One manages to avoid the shadows, but the other is injured and hisses at it's pain. Bolstered by at least the partial success, the wizard raises his staff and a missle of force is conjured and flies by the drake.

The remaining goblin, seeing most of it's allies down retreats back toward the cave, pulling a javelin from it's back. It hurls the weapon at the now awake and deadly shifter. It's nerves get the best of it though, and the weapon flies over the shifter's shoulder.
