Lost Gygaxian Monsters from the Underworld, Found!

As I clean up my atrociously disorganized hard drive, I'm finding a few old monster conversions that I had nearly forgotten all about. I just rediscovered a whole cache of monsters converted from the Mythus Bestiary, which was part of Gary Gygax's Dangerous Journeys RPG from the early nineties. Many ages ago, when the World Wide Web was still young, I found a neat site -- now long gone -- that had converted some of the cooler DJ monsters into TSR's SAGA system. I then converted several of those conversions into D&D. These converted critters, all natives of the Underdark, include the following:

• Dangler, a monstrous spider variant
• Harvestman, a nasty subterranean tree
• Shrewwolf, the wolf of the Underdark
• Steelback, a monstrous centipede variant
