"Blalock Trekking To Lost?

Dark Horizons, citing E! Online's Watch With Kristin column, reported a rumor that Jolene Blalock of Star Trek: Enterprise will guest-star in an upcoming episode of ABC's hit Lost.

Blalock was supposed to guest in the second episode of the current season, which was originally Sawyer's (Josh Holloway) backstory. But the episode was swapped for a Michael (Harold Perrineau Jr.) flashback.

Blalock will appear as a woman from Sawyer's past. The monster is also coming back very soon, Dark Horizons reported. Lost returns with new episodes in January.

In related news, TV Guide Online reported that Lost star Michelle Rodriguez (Ana Lucia) had a lot to say when she was arrested in Hawaii earlier this month for drunk driving. According to documents obtained by KITV-TV, Rodriguez was "very argumentative" during her arrest, at one point telling a cop: "Why don't you just put a gun to my head and shoot me? You've already taken my freedom, you might as well take my life, too!" "
...............

I saw the pictures of Watros and Rodriguez and I think the lesson here is that nobody looks good in a mug shot. (eeeesh!)

Personally, I wish they would can her. I personally don't like her character and keep watching just for the hope of her getting killed by the "others" or by the "monster" :) Not to mention the fact that everyone has just kind of gone "oh, it was an accident, it's okay". Not only did she kill Shannon, but then continued to hold them prisoner. I'm sorry, but at that point I would have sent her out on her own into the jungle to fend for herself

People said the same about Sawyer too and look at him now... ;)

Yeah, but at least Sawyer, like him or not, is charismatic. Ana Lucia... not so much.

('Course, doesn't help that 1. I don't really like Michelle Rodriguez to begin with, and 2. She plays the exact same character in everything she does.)

Anyone interested in Ana Lucia & Libby's mugshots can find them at www.thesmokinggun.com. Go to mug shots and look at 'the LOST girls'. Cynthia Watros looks completely plowed. It would be funny if they hadn't been in a position to potentially kill someone.

But there is something there with Sawyer that keeps me interested in his character and his background. With Ana Lucia, well... nothing there IMO. And then there is the "acceptance" by the rest of the survivors thing. The ones that survived with her had to keep her around becuase they couldn't seem to take charge for themselves, but the larger grop has no reason to keep her (other than because she is a fellow survivor). I just don't think that their integration of her character into the original group of survivors works very well. It feels more like a "typical" DND group.

DM: "You are all huddled together around the campfire when a woman warrior comes up with your companion who has been missing for a couple days and asks to join the group"
Players: "Sure! Have a seat. Want some grub? By the way, why does our Bob look like hell?"

Heh! Accepted, huh? Funny, how perceptions differ...

Last I saw AL, she was sitting on the beach, alone, and said something like "What, you talkin' to me?" Seems like most of the survivors are giving her a cold welcome, if any.

After Shannon was shot, we went back to the last 48 days, and only the immediate results with Sayid & Jack have been dealt with. There'll probably be more, in upcoming episodes, next season (I don't really think there'll be time, in the three or so remaining episodes, although I could be wrong).

In the end, Sayid's having (more or less) forgiven her will mean that the rest will have to. No one else has AS MUCH of a reason to hold a grudge. (It would be interesting if Hurley was like: "Dude, WHY?" ;-p)

Anyway, it wouldn't surprise me if Ana was the one to KILL the "monster", whatever it is. I think we'll see both a tough and a soft side of her. Already happened, actually. With Jack in the bar, with Eku, crying at the stream, etc. She'll come around enough to be liked, assuming they don't kill her off, first.

We've had nine so far.

He probably thinks there are only three left because the official solicitations are
only up to episode 12. While we may not get as (unusually many as) last season,
I do expect we get at least 20.
