[LotR] small TT spoiler request?

do we get to see gandalf battle the balrog atop the mountain? does anyone know? no other spoilers, just a yes or no please

I have heard Yes, but don't get to excited till you see it.

The word is yes. How much of it we'll see is uncertain. Personally, I hope to see something of the Endless Stair and some battling atop Caradhras.

your wish has been granted. The movie starts with Gandalf falling, and we follow him down as he battles the Balrog. Eventually, the crash into a lake...

Later, Gandalf recounts more of the battle, and you see some good smiting!
