Autumn spends the evening relaxing in the Dunn Wright common room. She orders a meager meal of simple bread and water, taking care to keep one ear up for any rumblings about the Underbridge. After a few hours, she heads up to bed.

The druid wakes up for her morning constitution then heads back to the common area. After a satisfying breakfast of a buttered muffin, Autumn bids farewell to the Dunn Wright and is ready to go adventure to the underground. There is some unsettling feeling about leaving the Inn, as if it may be the last.

As the others go about their business he surveys the common room with feigned disinterest; however, to a trained eye, it becomes clear that he is watching the inns patrons quite carefully. His feet propped up in a booth, Arradon awaits the others return before departing to the Underbridge.

Zinnelis paused outside the door of the Mystic Pearl as a little Human boy ran up and handed him a piece of parchment. The elf examined it to find a notice of advance on his pay for the Kingsholme job from Ioso at the Temple of Sapo. It authorized the Pearl to sell him up to 150 gold pieces.

“Thank you,” Zinn told the boy, giving him a few coppers for his trouble. Then he followed Levanna inside.

Zinn went to the area where the wands and scrolls were kept. He wanted to carry his weight in this adventure. The most efficient use of his limited funds would be to find a partially charged wand. If unable to do that, scrolls were the next best bet, and then potions. His luck was with him and he found a wand with ten charges of low level healing magic. Going to the counter, he handed over the letter from the Temple and headed back to rejoin the others at the Dunn Wright Inn.

The Entrance to Underbridge


With the shopping put behind you, Etan leads the group out into the city. His mood begins cheerily enough but as you travel he becomes progressively less merry. He looks around distractedly but eventually you stop. In the distance is Pierinho's Folly, the bridge from the island city of Venza to the mainland.

”You must follow me exactly. Follow close behind, don’t step off my path, and don’t let go of anyone’s hand.” He reaches out and grasps Levanna’s hand and motions for her to grab the hand of the person behind her.

The pixie begins a weaving path down wide steps that descends along side the bridge to a walkway that passes under the first span of the bridge. As he descends, clouds, dark grey and threatening rain, roll in with unnatural speed and the sunny morning becomes gloomy and dark. Etan does not seem to even notice so focused he is on his meandering path.

When Etan reaches the underside of the the bridge he reaches out and raps twice on the stone. There is a rumble as the stone shifts and moves to the side. A head pokes out: large, greyish-green, with a pair of horns, one snapped off at the mid-point.

”Whaddaya want?”

Etan blanches away at the deep, rumbling question and looks to behind for one of you to answer.

If Arradon is taken aback by the gatekeeper's sudden appearance, his face doesn't show it. He softly clears his throat as he steps past a speechless Autumn, lowering his hood as he does so. "Well met. We are a group of travelers who seek to negotiate passage from an entity known as Torgrimr, and you are?" He favors the gatekeeper with a smile. He's actually quite handsome when he isn't skulking around deep in his hood; that famed Elven beauty evident in his surprisingly delicate features.

Levanna bought 2 potions of Cure Light Wounds. In case she gets taken down to 0 hitpoints again, I'd like her to be able to heal herself if she needs to![/sblock]

"Amazing!" Levanna said to the ranger as he entered behind her. She chuckled and continued,"So many items of mystic power in here... I fear you would have to drag me away.

The wizard browsed the wares for several long minutes, distracted from her original intent to buy items of healing. At a polite cough from the proprietor, Levanna's cheeks colored slightly. She presented a letter from Ioso almost exactly the same as Zinnelis', also for 150 gold pieces. Remembering her last encounter with shades in which she was rendered nearly helpless, Levanna asked for potions of healing.
