M&M 3e: Young Justice!

First, that power is ONLY against vision.

Second, it's not a 3rd Edition power. It's a 2nd Edition power.

The 3rd Edition equivalent is called Concealment, and it works pretty much as I said, except that I forgot to mention Sense Groups.

You're not using the 2nd Edition book are ya? They're similar, but there are differences.

Addon: If I make an affliction, bump it up to a continues affected and then make it into a permanent affect and add reversiable would it then be imposable to fully remove with out my character (or a plot device) undoing it? Also, would doing so need to add an other +1/r to the cost? :3
Permanency is a flaw and not an extra. Adding reversible would just cance l most of the flaw (you will still not be able to use extra effort with it).

Yes.

...

It is in 3rd edition. Page 114, down-left corner.

Page 114 is Super Senses.

...

I get the feeling we're using different books. :)

I'm using the 3rd Edition rules that come with the DC Adventures book. It doesn't list Invisibility as a separate power. Rather it lists Concealment, which can be bought as Invisibility, if you purchase it just for sight, but isn't limited to invisibility.

The Invisibility power, as cited by Zerith, is basically just an example of one possible application of a much broader ability.

Complications:

The Betrayer’s Curse: A moment after being killed, something that has started happening much to commonly to be realistically possible if one were to ask him, Eldritch revives and is made loyal to his slayer. This Loyalty both is and is not mind control.
It is mind control in that it can cause him to do things he would not normally do; such as igniting those he considers friends if it advances his new master’s cause.
It is not mind control in that he does not have to fallow just any given command and he still maintains his mind.

While he does not become a mindless slave to his master’s commands, he is unconditionally Loyal; regardless of his own wants, he will not wittingly betray his master or allow his master come to harm from either action or inaction: even if doing so brakes direct orders from his master
[Allowing himself to be smote by an enemy of his master is a betrayal, as such, he will actively work to avoid it with all the means at his disposal.]

He will also proactively work to further his master’s cause and towards his master’s safety.
[For example, if he was smote by someone he was previously at odds with and knew of a operation to hinder his new master, he would work to foil the operation; doing anything from getting it sprung too early to deploying countermeasures (even going as far as abruptly moving his new found master across dimensions to avoid an imminent threat without order, or, as said before, against orders.)

The only order that he must fallow when given from his master is truthfulness, but he may still lie to his master so long as his master dos not say something expressing the desire for him to be truthful. (again, he cannot use his ability to lie to his master to betray said master.)
When he is being made to speak truthfully he does not have to disgorge information unless doing so advances his master’s cause (in which case he must give the information to his master any ways)

[It should be noted, playing jokes at his master’s expense and generally being aggravating, so long as doing so does not hinder his master’s cause is well within what he can and can’t do.

-Summary: if he sees an action, or inaction, as advancing his master’s cause, he must do so, and if he sees an action, or inaction, as hindering his master’s cause, he cannot do so. Anything that dos help or harm his master’s case is open to his whims, which he will generally act on without regard to consequences.
-Note: If he kills himself, for any reason, his master remains unchanged; as such, he will kill himself the moment he believes he cannot defeat a foe without being killed (and thus turning on his present master), preferably by blasting both himself and his foe(s), or by teleporting himself and his foe(s) up to a fatal height.

Ego: If Eldritch’s ego about his arcane talents was made real, the resulting bulk would implode in on itself and create a black hole that would consume entire dimensions. As such it is no surprise that he eagerly accepts, and issues, challenges of raw arcane might.

Reputation: Eldritch has an earned reputation as an arse and loose cannon with a complete disregard for both collateral damage and lose of life (something made trivial to him by his ability to revive the ones he kills and his ability to revive), he is also notorious for turning league members into cats the instant Dr. Fate, and other league members who are capable of nullifying magic, are to occupied to pay attention to his antics, something that previously has not happened very often.

A common, and likely accurate, insight is that he only behaves towards the general betterment of mankind because that is one of Dr. Fate’s goals and not something he would do if left to his own devices.

Okay a couple of things: I read slowly and am spending energy on another project, so I'd like to send out my extreme thanks to Shayuri and WD for your help on Zerith's character. I'd totally miss stuff, and frankly I feel like a student with this system again.

Second: I like the character from what I've noticed, and I think the words you've used for the powers reference particular effects, with Thor meaning protection or area, Nak meaning magical(?) and evil, Nax meaning magical and chaotic, and Kroll meaning teleport, Sha meaning invisibility. Nax Kroll could mean random teleportation, while Thor Nax Kroll could identify an area teleportation effect causing random displacement of the members swapping places (or everyone being teleported "somewhere").

I want to decode this...

-Nax: Magic 8 [+1PP] [Chaos Magical]
[Increased range (perception), Reversible, Check Required 1 (Expertise magic)]

-Thor Nax: Burst area Magic 8 [+1PP] [Chaos Magical]
[Area (burst) 1, Increased range (perception), Reversible, Check Required 9 (Expertise magic)]

-Dra Holl Thor Nax: Burst area Magic 8 [+1PP] [Chaos Magical]
[Affects insubstantial 2, Area (burst) 3, Dimensional 3, Increased range (perception), incurable, insidious, Multiattack, Penetrating 8, reversible, Slecetive, Check Required 16 (Expertise magic), Distracting, Side Effect 2(magic array unusable for one hour), Tiring.]

- These powers just about drove me crazy until I realized you were defining them as "Magic" when what you MEANT was "Damage." :P

Your Big Boom spell still has issues. It's Insidious, which is weird for an attack. I think you want Subtle, but I'm not sure. Also, it's an area effect (which has no attack roll) and Multiattack (which requires an attack roll). I am fairly sure that's a no-go.

-Kra Nax: Nullify 8 [+1PP] [Chaos Magical]
[Broad, Effortless, Radomize, Simultaneous, Increased range (perception), Check Required 16(Expertise magic)]

- I'll have to number-crunch this, but the sheer number of extras you shoehorned into this makes me wonder if you did the cost right. However! More pertinently, you need to define the descriptor or power this applies to. I assume "Magic," but you do have to specify.

As a general red flag on -all- these powers...I notice you've discovered the fabulous "Requires Check" limit. This is cool...but given the absolutely HUGE skill level you've given him, it's worth pointing out that in most cases he actually cannot fail these checks. This does mean he shouldn't be getting points for the limit...since requiring a check that can't be failed isn't really a limiting feature.

I'll have to re-read the book on that flaw, to see if there's a scaling mechanism to cover what happens when your skill level exceeds the DC of the flaw. I suspect you're probably supposed to just buy it off at that point.

They did "fix" check required. With 6 ranks of it he has a DC 16 and gets 6pp back. But only gets 1 rank for each point he exceeds the DC. So he needs a roll of 24 to get all 8 ranks. This still might be easy for some characters and needs to be kept an eye out for abuse. But *much* more balanced then the 2e version.

Looking at Eldritch's personality I think its funny that the Zach's replacement will be a Mage with an even worse attitude problem then Zatara!
