I think if you went with a template you'd be okay ... for simplicities sake just take the crinos and wolf forms (not the glabru-sp, or dire wolf ones)

I think many of the werewolf abilities can be represented by feats or PrC's ... their classes (memory fails can't remember what they are) could be represented by standard favored classes ... Ahrouns are definitely warrior types, Philodoxes could range from clerics to monks to paladins.

It'd be kinda cool to have different clans of werewolfs in DnD wolrd ...

you could have them start off as normal PC's (new humanoid race) and then they have to take a PrC and certain feats to become a Garou.

No way, funk that slit, go for the who shebang. Do all five forms and detail each of the clans. There are literally hundreds of thousands of gamers who would love to finally see the whole of the werewolf ala white wolf done in 3.5 terms. It's long overdue. It would not be right to deflate them by removing two of their most useful abilities. And it ruins the whole appeal. So go with it ...dont let people tell you it blows. :))

are you thinking WW as a d20 game ... or WW for use in DnD? ... I'd like to see them for DnD (which might mean some power drops ... considering the DnD world is a bit more used to supernatural stuff than the WW WoD ... werewolfs are scary, but a giant a dragon would definitely get my Ranger's attention)

I'd like to see werewolfs split among tribes too ... they don't all have to be CE

I was thinking more along the lines of Mutants and Masterminds. :D

For d20 I've seen Clockwork Golems After the Sunset: Werewolves. It looks great and maybe from that work on d20 WW Werewolves might progress.

I'm still having trouble working out how to get rage into M&M at the moment... :)
