[M&M2E] Freedom League Unlimited (OOC)

Can you quell these fears of mine?

[spell]Power Word Quell[/spell]

:D

I'll update Stone tomorrow sometime either early in the morning or later in the evening. I was hired for a new position, and I'm getting my ducks in a row to go out town for a new-employee training the beginning of next week for a couple of days.

Jemal,

Any progress on Psyker? You got a little quiet after the suggestions.

Tailspinner,

Any feedback on the suggestions for Pink Lightning (who looks splendid in all her Pink gaudiness I must say!)

DM_Matt,

When I look at your pic and read your background I envison Arsenal being a tactical expert. <<shrugs>> I do not know if this is inherent to Mark's character concept though so holding off on it probably is wise.

----------Background---------
Wendy never had a clue that she was not a Human. Sure, she had heard the stories how she was adopted by her parents and how she was originally found in some cornfield, but it was never really that interesting. Well, she had about the same interest in this as she had in books and schoolwork, which means absolutely nothing. And after her father died when she was 4, her mother never really had the time to talk much more about it anyway, since she had to work two jobs to sustain the family.

When she hit puberty her strength developed rapidly, far more rapidly than anyone else in her class, I mean, there's not many 13 year old girls capable of lifting cars above their head as if it was nothing. At first she was mostly planning on using her newly-found powers for her own benefit, but after one of her friends got brutally assaulted, the girl decided to use her gifts to help her friends.

At first she was mostly embarrassed for being different from the other girls, which was why she used an alias when they asked for her name, but eventually she realized the danger her family would be in if her identity was ever revealed. Her quickly adapted disguises eventually were replaced with an actual costume and a more established identity, that of Supreme Girl.

Supreme Girl has been active as a heroine for about 6 years in New York, but has been more of a local celebrity, rather than one to win worldwide fame. She never finished high school, but instead ended up doing the various odd jobs that someone with her education (or lack of education) could handle. The last few years she has been a salesperson of various things.

When Captain Thunder and Lady Liberty approached and offered her to become part of the Freedom League, she instantly accepted. She has now moved to Freedom City and has with the recommendation from previous jobs, found one as a salesperson of car accessories, a job where her attractive looks makes her well-suited for convincing men (the primary customers) to buy completely unnecessary accessories for their cars.

Awesome news! Both the quelling and the new job.

Are you going to be offline for awhile then?

I believe that you should have Microscopic Vision 2 since you've spent 8 pp in Super-Senses on this sheet, but no rank is listed in Microscopic Vision. Just pointing that out to you. Also, I don't actually see your Knockback listed.

Personally, by the way, I give Kryptonians Power Loss (Impervious Toughness, against Magic, Uncommon, Minor, -1 pp) instead of the Vulnerability that you have. That way your character would actually fear a magical blast somewhat; right now most magical blasts would simply be deflected even with the +1 DC and it wouldn't end up mattering (but it would matter on magic attacks with other saves).

Mark, congrats on the job!

Mark, congrats on the job!

I believe the Microscopic Vision thing is my error it should be 2 ranks.

As for the Power Loss. That is a really neat way to do it but I won't force it on Bialaska.

Well, I think the power loss would be better and I agree with Elric, against normal damage dealing magic, a +1 would mean very little (which was also why it was x1.5 before, since that would make a blast 10 strong enough to hurt if used by a mage.

sorry, was unable to post till now.

Eh, the Vampiric strikes me as cool. Incurable is awful mean and the League might start to frown on how many baddies you leave with long term neurological damage.

incurable in my book says it can only be healed naturally, it's to prevent healing powers and regeneration, not natural healing. I figured psychic trauma shouldn't be so easily removed by quickly mending skin.

I don't know why I didn't realize it before but allowing a equipment or even a full fledged power to break the skill PL cap is not kosher. Must have been my habitual lack of sleep.
I'll drop the camo then. didn't realize that either.

B) Change the base array to Telekinesis 10 (Damaging, PF: Accurate, Precise) (32 pp) and take two more ranks in base attack or take 2 ranks in Attack Focus (Ranged).
The character's supposed to be a heavy hitter. I'll drop some of the mental stuff if you want, but I want him to be a hard hitter, not average joe, which is why i did a damage trade-off.
C) Scale down the other APs in the array to the new lower point total, among other things removing the second rank of Subtle from Mind Reading (and probably subtle from Mental Blast as well), Sustained from Mind Control and Selective Area from Blast Wave.
I like this idea it would definitely make tha array more managable and prevent the character from becoming a bathroom mentalist.

Hmm... I really don't see how any of it is overpowered, especially when compared to other characters who're immune to both attacks *15 impervious* or have more powerful attacks.

I'm just not understanding what the problem is. If I drop the AP's, then he's not a psychic, he's just a telekinetic. I can do that, but I don't think it'll have the same appeal.

Perhaps if you could explain what's wrong?

btw, what's a bathroom mentalist?
