[M&M2E] Freedom League Unlimited (OOC)

The reason I've converted the forcemage to M&M Is because I think the concept works equally well, it's just that D&D gave me my first chance to play him (and as a dragon too, how freakin sweet is that? ;)). But I gotta say.. Telekinesis & Force blasts: Sounds like a comic book hero to me. :)

Also, I edited in a question as you were apparently typing your reply, did you catch it?

As one could probably tell by my handle Fist is one of my favorite characters. But we would have to go with a homage. That way the Fanboy in me wont get geeked out if you decide to do something that seems un-Danny like to me.;)

Can I still use that picture? Also, any comment on the stats? I might take a Touch Range Telepathy power, but if someone's shtick is being a telepath, I'd save that for Power Stunts.
 

Hmm, I was thinking about my Think Tank idea: a psion who uses an armor of psi-reactive crystals to enhance his mental powers (mostly TK).

But that's a lot like Jemal's Forcemaster, and heavy telepathic tricks don't quite seem appropriate for the character.
 


EDIT: BTW, How many times are you limiting the Luck feat? Half PL(5), PL(10)?
Also, would you allow me to take certain things as Luck Control powers or Alternate powers, assuming the descriptors fit? (Trip: making the person unlucky/clumsy, defense bonuses: Being in the right place at the right time, etc)


If you are playing a Luck character then it is 5 ranks of luck (half PL)

Other characters are much more limited unless they are dependent on Hero Points for effects. Its a case by case thing with me now.

Forcemaster sounds like a comicbook guy

Elzymyr the Forcemaster with his magic missile sounds like D&D. :)

But I will wait to see what you want to do with a psi version of him.

Do you allow seperate attack/save trade-offs for seperate attacks? by the RAW, it seems to be how they work, but I've had some GMs who don't like it (If you looked over the original forcemaster you may notice I have seperate tradeoffs on attacks).
Specifically this is for one accurate attack, and one high damage attack. (I'm pondering just going with Perception for the accurate attack, which is why I used the 'magic missile'... an attack that always hits. ;)

Iron Fist really only does the vulcan mindmeld thing rarely. So it fits as a Stunt.

Photobucket now has a photo editer if you want to play with the colors to change it up slightly, make it your own.

I haven't really gone over the stats yet though.

Yep seperate tradeoffs are fine.
 

hmm.. actually, I was just thinking to myself "why don't you just go with one base attack and take Accurate attack and Power Attack, silly? It's not like they have really different descriptors, they're all similar styled force attacks... Keep it Simple!!!!" :)

I have to head into work soon, but I think I've figured out what changes I'll make to ForceMaster.. Dropping the whole magic shtick, along with the minions, and basing his powers around a high-rank Telekinesis (Damaging).
