[M&M2E] Freedom League Unlimited (OOC)

Okay so the plan is

Stone gets on a bullhorn and tries to distract them.

The rest of the group accesses the roof disables the security measures.

You access the building via elevator shaft.

Supreme Girl scouts via x-ray vision.

Pink Lightning starts to rescue hostages via super-speed.

The rest of the group attacks while Stone and STAR keep a perimeter and possibly come in for back-up.

The only hazy part is if Psyker wants to try to get to the security center while the action is on.

OOC problem: still no word from Tailspinner about the plan.

Sounds about right to me. I think we'll have to play by ear as to whether or not Psyker tries to infiltrate C&C. Probly make the decision based on what info we can pry out of a guards mind.

Okay I was hoping everyone would've checked in by now. I have to modify things slightly and I have a backup player lined up. If the stars align right I can intro them DURING the fight. (Yes I let it slip there will be a fight....go figure.)

The plan looks pretty good to me. Only problem I see is that if (:)) a fight breaks out, Stone might be kind of left out if there's nothing happening near him. I vote that you just go ahead and move things along even if everyone hasn't chimed in- waiting for everyone to chime in will grind everything to a halt.

Really? They won't be talked down? I was so hopeful! :P

Sorry for the delay, my cable was erroneously shut off (and therefor my internet) and it was my "weekend" so I wasn't at work to post.

I do see my brief absence has allowed others to post...which is good!

Can you give us a sense of scale?

In particular: how far apart are all of the guards on the 1st floor?

About how many guards on the second floor? The third floor?

How far is the Force Field protecting the black diamond from where the hostages are being held (i.e., how far is it from White Knight to Johnny Reb)?

Also, since Stone doesn't have any movement powers, he might be way far from the action when it starts, now that we know they're still after the diamond. Assuming there's nothing that will detect/block this, we could commlink over to him (I'm assuming we all have commlinks) and tell him to start getting closer.

More questions:

What is class 4 hard armor? (In in-game and out terms, if our characters would know)

What are PL's prospects for rescuing the hostages? Can she jump over the fire, grab the hostages, jump out and get away?

How often do hero points refresh in this campaign, since pbp's don't have sessions in the same sense as table top? After each major fight? After some period of time IRL? At a holistic, GM-determined time (If so, some guidance would be nice).

As I said I am keeping scale purposelfully vague. Also this is via Supreme Girl's vision so precise details elude her. The place is big, like a big museum hall. But not football stadium big. About 8 or so on the second and third floor. Guys on the first floor are anywhere from 10-30 feet from eachother and move about. The force field and the hostages are not terribly near eachother.
The hostages are in the middle and the diamond the far end near the Zeus statue.

Commlink away if you would like.

http://bulletproofme.com/Ballistic_Protection_Levels.shtml gives a good description of armor ratings. Class IV is the highest rated "real world" body armor.

Leaping isn't so much of a problem.
Unless she does something funky she would have to run them out one by one. Which is quick in the scheme of things but she would be far from done by the time someone reacted.

I like the sound of the holistic approach but the reality is probably after every major fight.
