M&M3e (DCA) Young Justice: Home Alone

"As you wish, supreme leader-ess ;)."
Dre says as he quickly moves to the javelin.

I wonder if she already knows where we will fly....

Resisting a temptation to follow Echo, Solaris entered the jet. "If we keep ending up with multiple choice, we're gonna need more vehicles." he remarked. "Or a time machine."

Echo: there's nothing in Perry's office.

The city seems abuzz with activity. The day is getting on, what with your excitement earlier about being at the Hall of Justice, and then the events of the Riddler at the Daily Planet.

Now the sun begins to set: still in the sky, but heading towards the horizon.

Hovering in the Javelin, even after Echo returns, you are faced with the need to pick a direction. Currently we have a three-way tie.

Votes:

Bank: Dre
Streets: Solaris
Aquarium: 0
Star Labs: Green Dragon

If you're going to go by yourself, please do so and tell me how you get there.

The S.T.A.R. labs building sits quietly on its position on New Troy Island, the golden lights of the sun and evening sky reflecting off its golden windows. The Javelin hovers above the city, looking down upon even this vaunted haven of science. Beyond it, the skyline is punctuated by a half-dozen plumes of black smoke, where looters and rioters have started fires, and where opportunists have opted to take advantage of the power vacuum left by the Justice League's disappearance.

Is this how it feels to be a hero? You wonder, perhaps, as the realization comes to you that you've never truly been on your own before. Always your mentor was there to guide you. Now you, like them at their beginning, are poised on the edge of promised danger. Like them, you find yourself with a cadre of fellow-heroes. Possibly the only heroes left on the planet, you realize, thanks to Mongol; there weren't many to begin with, frankly, and now you're following the clues of a known mad man, hoping your answers to his riddles were the right ones. It is tempting to feel small right now, so high above such a large city.

Now the adventure awaits your action: you're at the S.T.A.R. labs building.

What do you do? (ie: how do you enter? Or do you do something else first?)

ooc: by that I mean M&M isn't a miniatures game. There's the Star Labs building, you're heroes with any number of options available to you right now. What do you choose?

"Perhaps we can land on the rooftop? That way we can take the stairs, I assume that important things are on the top." says green dragon, not really familiar with modern things.

"At least in my time the police was more effective. Where are the MPD's special units? They should be used to suoervillain attacks and catastrophes by now..."
Dre says disapprovingly about the situation.
Then he addresses Green Dragon:
"I think the real good stuff will be in underground labs...
Echo, can you reach the telephone network to announce us? Perhaps the lab has active defenses versus superhuman intruders."

"Try to find a place to land on the ground," Echo said. "The roof only if there isn't any place lower. A bomb will most likely be placed low, to try to undermine the structure's integrity and cause a collapse."

She then attempts to raise STAR Labs over the phone system.

"This is the Justice League. We have credible evidence there has been a bomb set to go off in your building. Please evacuate civilian personnel and allow us access to your facilites."

"I wonder if CyberRiddler went shopping while he was here - if he was here." Solaris remarked. "There's a lot of tech at Star Labs that a criminal mind might be interested in."
