Thats how I would rule in most cases, except when said Earring was designed as a Wondrous Item instead (rather than as a 'ring'), and then I say un-slotted or headgear as default or possibly by comparing the function of said Earring to closest existing item (making it possibly amulet or other type). In any case, the Earring would not create new slots; it would either be slotless (and more costly) or take an existing slot.epochrpg said:I would classify them as rings.
